Perfect location. Wonderful bed and sheets. |Clean and relaxing. Would absolutely stay here again. The Spa was phenomenal - Stephanie was superb! Breakfast pastries were a nice touch. As is the fire in the courtyard. Nice staff too. We walked up the hill (two trails at 0.3 and 0.7 miles away) - great views. And loved the easy walk to the square. 100% recommend this place! ||(Only suggestion would be to add a small tv - we were in acacia and we’d say put it on a swing arm above the fireplace - would have been perfect viewing from tub, couch or bed. I know the place is supposed to be set up for less media, but missing the weather reports for flights etc or sports events made us open our phone instead… would have rather had just the tv on if that makes sense)||About Sonoma: ||We spent a day driving the country to vineyards (healdsburg area) but we were surprised to find that our favorite day was staying right in town at the plaza. Tip: even in off season you need reservations for vineyards. We didn’t make them and were turned away from most… even though they were not busy. ||The plaza is a “park” or “square”, and is surrounded with wonderful shops, restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms. We tasted wondeful cabs at Kamen and good Pinot Noir’s at Fulcrom. Both experiences were great and highly recommend both tasting venues. There are probably 10 more right in the square, all showcasing local wine’s. Each tasting was 25$-35$ for 3-5 different wines. Easier than driving all over! ||The stay at Cottage Inn and Spa set us up well for all of it. Thanks...

-The Cottage Inn & Spa is a wonderful place to stay while you visit Sonoma. -After staying at the Fairmont & this location, both of which are very good, I prefer staying here. -The location is excellent b/c it's a 5 minute walk to downtown. -The cottages/suites are all unique, I was able to stay in a cozy one-bedroom, one bath w/ a kitchen, living room w/ fireplace (bummer b/c it wasn't working) & a tiny backyard that leads out to your car space. -You can also book discounted packages like their full-body couples massages and/or wine tasting down the street at Sojourn Cellars (both were awesome experiences). -The customer service is super-nice & they always give you a warm welcoming smile. -The semi-private courtyard was great to look out at while enjoying breakfast or the high-end tea/coffee (which is supplied in the suite). -Speaking of breakfast, at 8am you get a paper bag hung on your front door which has some baked goods (English scone & French croissant).
Overall, this is such an awesome, quiet place to stay at for a couple of days while you enjoy Sonoma & the surrounding...
