Corner 103 — Attraction in Sonoma

I have had an incredible experience with Corner 103 from start to finish. My husband and I were in Sonoma for a work conference and stumbled into corner 103 on the quaint downtown Sonoma square. The tasting room is absolutely beautiful. Classy, comfortable, inviting. We spent the next couple of hours with Lloyd, the master mind behind it all tasting his amazing creations. There was not a single wine that we didn't enjoy. Whites, reds, sparkling- we LOVED them all. I was not prepared for this! I tend to prefer red wines, but the complexity and flavors of some of the whites tried at corner 103 have completely changed my life. Every wine was poured in the appropriate glass to best showcase its flavors. The tasting was incredibly educational! We could have sat and talked to Lloyd for hours. His knowledge about wine and the industry, as well as his interesting background in finance made for great conversation. It truly was the perfect evening.

I inquired about joining the wine club, however I never felt pressured, which is a welcome change in wine country. I was given the information needed and was able to sign up quickly. It couldn't have been easier.

Fast forward a few months to our first shipment. I recieved notification that my wine was on its way- HOORAY! When it came down to the delivery, UPS was set to bring the package to our house. I did have a basic issue regarding shipping that I tried handling with multiple UPS agents-- unsuccessfully. Frustrated, I reached out to Corner 103 . Brent the general manager, who has been a complete pleasure to work with throughout this whole process ( we have spoken a few times regarding special orders, and selecting choices for my shipment) got back to me via email immediately. In less than a half an hour, Brent had completely resolved my issue with UPS, making the delivery process painless. He is understanding, patient, and has one priority- getting his patrons the wine they've been waiting on! Cheers to you Brent!

There is so much to love about Corner 103: the wines, the location, and the people! They make a wide variety of wines, gems in small production (about 150 to 250 cases of each varietal annually). Corner 103 offers a range of award-winning wines on their tasting menu (usually about 10-15 to choose from), and personally I love so many: their Rosé of Pinot Noir, the Pinot Noir, the Allure (merlot and cab blend), the Petit Verdot, and their flagship Inspiration (another masterful red blend) currently top my list. Nestled on their namesake corner on W Napa Street, the intimate yet elegant tasting room offers a picturesque view of the charming Sonoma Square. They are conveniently located near other tasting rooms and lovely restaurants like Oso and The Girl and the Fig if you are looking for a one-stop wine paradise tour. Lastly, the delightfully attentive tandem of Lloyd and Brent create experiences with intention and care personally enough to build relationships with their customers. All this, and given Corner 103 is a Black-owned and LGBTQ-owned business, made joining their wine club one of my best decisions in the past 10+ years of enjoying the riches of our world-renown Wine Country region. Lloyd put together a great staff Brent & Shaemus two guys who know their way around the wines, like the Cuvée, a bold blend, the Zinfandel, bursting with juicy fruit, and the Inspiration, a decadent red. No matter your preference, the staff will help you find the perfect bottle to enjoy. When you hit up corner 103 its more of an intimate vibe. Just a reminder they are reservations only so just don't try and slide in unannounced. Being a member adds another layer to the experience.
