Red Rocks is a wonderful place for adventure. This large wooded area is great for hiking, walking, running, biking and more! Plus there is a beach!! The paths are wide and well stomped down for the most part. There are signs all over pointing you in the right direction, as well as the signs educating visitors about the park, as well as the wild plants and animals, which can make it fun for kids too. My son loves picnicking there. Lots of great little spots to hang out and have lunch.

Some websites mentioned a gate fee to enter the park, but if there was one, we never saw an attendant or honesty box to...

We have tried to bring friends who are afraid of dogs but had to head home as ownerless dogs kept running up. Most of my encounters have been positive with the off leash dogs being very well trained and friendly. Just wanted to warn anyone who is afraid of dogs or who have an anxious/aggressive pup (I do) who may do badly with other dogs off leash that this is not the...
