If I could give the service a 1.5 star--- I would. Since I have had never dined at a Buffalo Wild Wings before, my mother and I decided it would be a fun change for a daughter-mother dinner day.
After we were seated, it took between 10-15 minutes before our server came to greet us and ask for our drinks. Mind you... the time was needed since we were pretty indecisive about our appetizer and drinks- so the wait did not bother us one bit.
What DID bother us was the simple fact that we were not given napkins. We simply used the towelettes that were placed on the table. At first I was confused since I had never been somewhere with no napkins or silverware. I chopped it up to, "Maybe because it's a wings place? Maybe that's why we only have mini, tiny towelettes/"wet ones" and no silverware?"
As time went by, I looked around and noticed there were people eating with silverware. So if theres silverware, then there would be napkins, correct? Sure enough, I stopped another passersby and asked her for napkins- which she quickly brought to us.
Silverware? At this time there was no point since we had sat and ate our appetizer (including the boneless wings) with our fingers. True finger food experience I guess.
Though our waitress did come and check up on us through out dinner time, I had lost my appetite shortly after recieving my food after experiencing the large amount of grease dripping off my burger and sogged up the burger buns (picture). The onion rings- sweet but didn't have that crunch. Maybe I'll just go and get some Burger King next time. Better yet- grill up my own burger at home instead. Luckily the appetizer dish was satisfying enough.
Not too long before we left, the same waitress came out and gave a couple that were seated not too far from us napkins with their drinks. What's that all about? It inwardly made me sigh. How ridiculous.
So note to self: never go to this napkinless and silverware deprived restaurant again.
Also- drinks for $15 each is totally not worth it. If you drink beer, it'll be a better deal for you. Margaritas or any specialty drinks- I...
Read moreI placed an order at 11:04 am on 6/15/20 to be picked up at 5:30 pm same day. (It was my husband's birthday party, and so I was keeping a very tight schedule) When I arrived, the to-go cashier (Eliza) cashed me out and was putting together my order. I paid and left. I checked my order in the car and it seemed that I had everything I had ordered. Great!
I get about halfway home and I receive a phone call from Eliza stating that she had forgotten one of the items I ordered. I expressed my discontent and explained that I was in a hurry, but that I would return and pick up the item I was missing. I asked if there would be any consolation for having to re-drive across town, and she said she would ask her manager. Fine.
I returned to the store. Eliza saw me come in and went back to get my food item and to speak with her manager. She returned and threw my food order on the counter and said that she was "sorry but there's nothing her manager could do" about me having to come back to the store because she forgot one of my items. I was upset with the way she handled my food, but proceeded to leave.
I called the store back after leaving (approximately 5 minutes later) and asked to speak to the manager. Eliza told me that her manager was busy and couldn't talk. I expressed that I wasn't mad at her for making a mistake, we all make mistakes, but I didn't appreciate the way she treated my food or the way the manager "couldn't do something about it." I spent roughly $100 at their store, and I tipped her when I paid the first time. I've also worked in food service for 8 years, and know that a manager can do something to make it right if they want to do something. She took my phone number down and said the manager would call back the same day. It's been four days. I never received a phone call.
Update 6/20/20: I was contacted via email after completing the form on the website (FAQ). The management at this location has appropriately compensated me, which is much...
Read moreAfter several wonderful experiences with this chain in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, I was excited to be able to find one in my home state today! Unfortunately, my experience today was abysmal. I’m never one to complain, consistently tip generously, and in all honesty this is the first negative review I’ve ever made. It was THAT bad. Despite having only six other tables in the entire restaurant occupied, and no one at the bar, and three waitstaff as well as a hostess, our service was horrendously slow. It’d be one thing if they were slammed (which happens), but that they weren’t. When our wings finally came, they were cold and soggy (and came out with the meal despite asking for them as an appetizer). We also ordered a burger, done medium. It also came out cold, very well done, and honestly had the oddest flavor that I’ve ever tasted from a burger. The chicken caesar salad my niece ordered was full of gristley chicken and the greens contained a ridiculous amount of romain rib, which unto itself isn’t a huge deal but it had already turned brown. We left most of what we ordered on our plates.
Our server acted as if he was put out to have to attend to us, and was very unfriendly even when my party and I tried to be friendly and engaging with him. He came to our table exactly three times: to take our order, to bring our food, and to bring the check. For a $124.00 lunch for three people, that experience is just unacceptable in my book. The only good thing about the entire experience was the music they had on! I'm really hoping that it was a fluke, as it's not in line with any other Wild Wings experiences...
