Versailles Atelier Bridal — Attraction in South Jordan

Oh where do I begin! obviously new to the engaged an wedding scenario as most are, but I got engaged in December 2023 and a wedding date of Oct 2024, and of course would be an out of state destination wedding as my now husband and I's family are located out of utah.

Versailles Atelier was the first wedding store I found online when I looked up on Google as well as the knot that caught my eye. I wanted unique I wanted beautiful an spoke more me then i felt.i could get with renting a dress or Amazon could provide.

Natasha and her team were quick to respond and help me every step of the way. even with questions not dress related Natasha was on it to check with me and any help I needed through a whole fiasco of wedding planning.

my first appointment I provided an idea of what I wanted (pinterest inspired) and a price range. I also had all my wedding party with me. Natasha an her store made it like my own private event. The atmosphere and store layout were beautiful and inviting. she had a handful dresses ready and walked me through how to even beginning putting all the glamorous styles on.

I was provided dresses I never thought I would like to ensure I had a chance to see what i liked an dont like without overwhelming me with two many options.

After I locked my decision down to two dresses I asked if I could return at a later date so my mother could be with me and see about narrowing down the options. Kassidy was there to assist for this experience an she was just as helpful as Natasha. she assisted with her professional opinion and ensured I picked what I felt beautiful in.

After that was the process of ordering and ensuring the dress was altered to fit my dream ideas. Natasha also ensured as I am a type 1 diabetic with a pump that a pocket for the pump would be installed an no extra cost to assist.

Natasha kept me in the loop the whole time pending my dress alteration and time frame. I was informed quickly on changes an ideas that needed my approval for the design to be custom to my desires . I truly felt like I had a design team just for me.

Finally the dress arrived and she was beautiful just on the hanger herself. once she was on she took my breath away even Natasha stated she loved the alterations and outcome of the dress the varied from the original design. again making me feel like I had a one of a kind dress.

I was the provided with a seamstress to facilitate my pump pocket at no cost. pink seams alterations and that company was quick smooth and efficient and loved working with them but that is for another review.

so again Natasha and everyone at versailles atelier, thank you for helping me. Thank you for the tremendous amount of time and experience you brought to my moment. thank you for making me feel like I had my own team an perosnal dress that fit me and me alone. thank you for your kindness an making me feel like friend.

Ok I just did the whole wedding thing. So I know anyone reading these reviews is looking for a reason to come to Versailles or not. So I am going to give my honest experience and tell you reasons why I specifically chose this bridal shop over others.

Customer service! The women working there are fantastic. From the moment I contacted them to even now, months after my wedding. They were honest with me and very helpful navigating my vision.

I was treated like a VIP ever second. Shopping here is probably what it feels like to be a celebrity. I felt so safe and it really felt like I was hanging out with my cool smart savvy fashion friends.

Unique dresses. I was planning a Dune inspired desert wedding and I was disappointed at all the other dresses I was seeing out there. Everything was just so.... overdone in my eyes. I found a concept dress by celebrity designer Iris Van Herpen, and it was with that hope in mind that I Googled "Custom Wedding Dresses Near Me".

Accommodating. I came in and told them about my vision of this futuristic space alien princess vibe I wanted. Then I hit them with the bad news that I was getting married in 3 months! We then calmly discussed a strategy and they helped me understand what was realistic with my timeline and budget.

Yes I wouldn't be wearing a million dollar dress designed with AI from Iris Van Herpen. However, they did help me find a beautiful dress that was pieced together with things I loved from different dresses.

They were knowledgeable in helping me navigate what materials would be ok or not ok for the desert landscape. They know so much about the different fabrics and how they react to different elements. As well as what complimented my body shape.

We were able to customize my wedding dress by piecing together the neckline and flowy base dress I loved that was from a Ukrainian designer. Along with the fluffy overskirt that gave me cool evil queen vibes. As well as some beads that gave by back some fun texture. You can see all these features in included photos. The cape sleeves were custom made later on.

There are also a few other things I want to mention in my review. If you are looking for a cheap $100 wedding dress, then you need to understand that it was probably made with child labor in a factory.

Your wedding day is not just a time to celebrate your love, but it is an opportunity to share love and goodness in the world by voting with your dollar.

I would do the same dress and shop if I had to do it again! I hope this review gives you an idea of what it was like for me to get my dress and a few things that made this a 5 star experience for me.

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Natasha. I went to my appointment with no clue what style or fit I was going to like. I even explained to her how picky I’ve been about saving Pinterest dresses because I really just couldn’t make a decision on what I was envisioning. She of course; made all of my worries go away by showing me all of my options and explaining in detail how we can alter certain dresses and accessories to get the exact customization we have in mind. I felt beautiful and excited and so comfortable the entire time. She made it easy to tell her when I loved the dress or when it wasn’t my favorite. I ended up having two right off of the bat that were my top choices and then after seeing other styles and options I ended up choosing the very last one out of about 8 options. Trying on less than 10 dresses and finding “The One” felt like an absolute miracle considering how indecisive I was when my appointment started. Natasha was so kind and knowledgeable and has a wide variety of inventory as well as great vendor recommendations. She is truly a wizard at making every woman feel like the bride they dreamed about since they were little. I’m so excited to pick up my dress and am beyond appreciative and grateful for my opportunity to shop at Versailles Atelier. I left with the best dress and purchase a girl could ever dream of and the cherry on top was that we got such an affordable price that was exactly in my mom’s comfort zone and budget. My mom and I will be HIGHLY recommending Natasha and her team as well as her store to anyone...
