Peninsula Pines Apartments — Attraction in South San Francisco

So glad we moved out. Don’t recommend living here. And we have lived in different apartments for 6 years and we saw it all and we understand everything and compromise a lot of things but this one was ridiculous.

First of all - MOLD problems!!! Mold is dangerous if inhaled especially by kids and people with weak immune. And you can try everything to not to get it ( open windows everyday, not putting things along the wall) but it doesn’t help - the buildings are old and the management doesn’t provide proper mold prevention program so you will have to deal with it yourself. And it grows so fast. Yikes!!!

Doing laundry is ridiculous- have to go all the way down the stairs and then walk to laundry rooms and hope you are lucky to have some available, most of the time machines are broken or under maintenance or they eat up your coins or they just don’t do the washing or drying properly so have to redo it.

THERE are stairs everywhere, definitely not accessible by any means. It is hard even for a strong male to carry groceries to your apartment. If you have strollers or bike - can not keep it outside anywhere, so have to carry it through stairs everytime until your back hurt then you just give up and have to not use it or put it in a trunk.

Management is OK. They just do their job nothing special. Sometimes worse sometimes better.

Just save yourself time and go to better place, with the elevators, better laundry, not moldy, kid friendly,...

Lived there for 7 years absolutely a dump the staff in the office act like your bothering them when asked a question the maintance men act like cops and stick tickets on your car windows.one morning I was scraping the frost off my front windows when an office lady came and told Me I can't do that it's a form of working on your car. I said but I can't see she said do it again and I'll doc your rent I couldn't believe it no help and now she's threatening me.. almost every apartment has fleas and if not it will because of all the pets. And then they will charge you for the exterminator to come in. I had no pets in my apartment so how is it do I have fleas they charged me 2500 anywase said it wasn't there problem . And the neighbors are mostly drug addicts that let there baby's run around the facility with nothing but a diaper on.. do yourself a huge favor...

Do not apply here. They wrote down in the paper the price of a 2 bed apt for a same day application. I did as the employee suggested, but in the same day the price was already different in their website. I decided to follow the application to make the process faster because I imagined they would cover the price that the lady in the office wrote to me. Lies! My application was approved however the monthly price would be $200 up! Trick, trick, trick! I complained but you imagine the end of this history.
