Real Taste 570 Catering — Attraction in South Williamsport

Update 4/22/22: I thought I give it another try. They have updated the menu alot and it looked promising from the reviews. I ordered the enchiladas platter and pork tamale. Both were bland, no flavor, even with the sauce. Rice and beans, nothing spectacular. The tortillas were very hard on my enchiladas. Never in my life I had hard enchiladas from a restaurant. I have dine many great authentic Mexican restaurants in Cali, as I was born there and nothing compared to this restaurant. I won't be coming back sorry.

I like Mexican food, so glad there is one in Jersey Shore. However, food was not that great. I have ordered for the first time last year, but never went back. I had a salad there with tortilla strips, when I got my food home, I opened it up and you can see everything was soaked in some kind of lime juice, it was so watery you can see the juice floating halfway on the salad. Lol. I ate it anyway because I don't like wasting food. I hope they have a better chef or upgraded their recipe ever since. Edit after response: I looked backed on the menu and found it was the Burrito Bowl salad I bought. It had chip strips in it and I added extra meat. It was pricey for a 11$ salad, I expected a higher quality with fresh ingredients entree, but it was really sub par and the chicken in it was hard, not tasty. Yes it was the vinaigrette you put in it. My lettuce was literally floating. Thanks for the response and invite. I would give you another chance, this time with your more popular dishes...

Where do I begin with Curiel, Erica and team. With a long emotional day ahead for our family, Chef Curiel and the catering team went above and beyond for our celebration of life event. Real Taste was on-site early; before anyone had even let us in our venue. I was able to meet the team prior to the event. From the word go, our family new we were in good hands. Fresh ingredients for our customized menu were being prepped and handcrafted into what the guests say was some of the best food they had had in the area. I would very much agree. Even living in Charlotte, NC where options are endless for different types of cuisine, Curiel has a way with his style that is unmatched, even in a large city. To do it consistently at a larger event is very impressive. As the doors were about to open the Real Taste crew staged, set-up and explained the food in great detail. You can only imagine how relieved our family was knowing that Real Taste covered all of the bases. Our family has a tendency to always help and ask where we can help. Curiel and the team wanted us to focus on the event and not worry about anything. Man, did they deliver. I am not sure how we would have pulled it off if we had to do it on our own. Erica was amazing to work with and had our event details mapped out to a T. The game plan was clear and Curiel and team executed. Thank ya'll for a seemless event with great food, great service, and just an over hussle to get things done. Your success is definitely showing in your hard work. Thank you...

USE THEM!! We used them for our mom, Robin Baker Prentiss' celebration of life at the Cell Block. The number one comment of course was "We/I are/am sorry about your mom" but the number two comment was "OMG who made this food it is freaking so good" "Yo who made this it is awesome". "The sauces are so good" "The pineapple habanero sauce is the perfect amount of spicey!" We ordered food for 200 people and let me tell you there was not a lot to take home!! They also put containers out so people could take food with them! Which was perfect because some people stopped in just to pay their respects but had to leave for kids sports etc... They showed so much compassion and really made us feel like everything was going to be taken care of...and it was. I would definitely use them again! I am trying to think of something I could hold just so I can use them again so people can taste their food. Thank Thank Thank You! PS my friend Marjaneh is loooooving the cream sauce you make for the fruit!! Also guys!! Gluten free...
