Absolutely beautiful park. Right next to fish hatchery (went in Sunday, so it was closed), beautiful gazebo, ducks everywhere. Bathrooms open BUT are in desperate need of attention, no TP and needed cleaned, but LOVED the park. Everytime I visit a new town,I find local parks with bike/ walk paths. The nature here is beautiful, fast running water, picnic area, public restroom, wildlife, quiet, must go again

Despite the construction which made it hard to access the creek--the park was clean and full of natural beauty, sprinkled with some sidewalk art and kids giggling! Can't wait until the orange fences & traffic cones are gone! The sound of Spearfish Creek running is so so peaceful.

I was amazed by a rv camp ground called City Park. At first the name just didn't do anything for me until we camped there and then camped their two more times. One of my favorite places in that area with a large creek that winds through it and deers roaming freely. I hate to write a good review because to me this place is a gem, but decided to share it. Nice walking/jogging, biking paths. Dog friendly, very clean, family oriented, full hookup, campfires allowed in certain areas. The sights are not huge, but the scenery is worth it. One minor negative the roads inside are kind of tight if you're 40ft, but doable. We went to Dead Wood, Mount Rushmore and then Black Hills area. They even have a...

A beautiful park nestled along the Spearfish Creek on the west side of the City of Spearfish. Its beautifully maintained and the have free concerts at the bandshell every Wednesday night during the summer. There's Paddle Ball courts that are busy every day and the local Paddle Ball club has events too. If you're going to go to the park, make sure you allow a little extra time to visit the Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery (free) located at the south end of the City park just over the bridge and across from the city campground. Great educational and fun venue for young...

Super pumped they had a couple basketball courts. Even more so that basketball had priority in non reserved times. However, you can't run a full court game, which, hands down full court basketball is one of the best exercises. From asking two people, they yanked up the tennis courts and put pickleball. End of times. End of times! Pickleball, like golf, is not a sport but an activity, and one that we use to lower the bar on what we find acceptable to feel good about ourselves. I'll pass on the pickleball and continue to feel like the...
