I was amazed by a rv camp ground called City Park. At first the name just didn't do anything for me until we camped there and then camped their two more times. One of my favorite places in that area with a large creek that winds through it and deers roaming freely. I hate to write a good review because to me this place is a gem, but decided to share it. Nice walking/jogging, biking paths. Dog friendly, very clean, family oriented, full hookup, campfires allowed in certain areas. The sights are not huge, but the scenery is worth it. Its beautifully maintained and the have free concerts at the bandshell every Wednesday night during the summer. There's Paddle Ball courts that are busy every day and the local Paddle Ball club has events too. If you're going to go to the park, make sure you allow a little extra time to visit the Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery (free) located at the south end of the City park just over the bridge and across from the city campground. Great educational and fun venue for young...
