By far one of my worst experiences I've ever had at a kids place. Today, January 27th, 2024, I paid for the full kids lunch experience. Everything was alright until we kept being reminded about socks and shoes off. Mind you, there were many parents with their shoes on, everywhere. When it came to me being asked to put socks on, as I was visibly busy attending my party, I was frustrated and answered a young boy named Anton that I would do it when I completed was I was doing. Anton chose violence today and decided to be more pushy and continued to ask again as much to say, " it makes me happy when they get mad" There is no way that I'm paying all this money to have a boy try to argue with me while I'm trying to enjoy my time. This young boy was extremely unprofessional. He spoke like he was out in the streets or in the hood trying to pick a fight or argument. All the while his manager Andrea or Adrian didn't say more than "stop" to him as he continued to go gossip to his other coworkers about what was happening. I continued to tell him how ghetto and unprofessional he was until he walked away. Already a stupid and unnecessary interaction. Moving forward to the next unnecessary interaction, after my pizza was delayed by an hour! I confirmed twice, once on the day I was called for confirmation and again with the manager at the establishment, that extra kids could be charged as a regular admission, since I brought food. As I was getting ready to open my daughters gifts , an employee is tapping on me to pay an additional $130. Apparently, Adrian's district manager coincidentally called her today of all days to tell her that all parties with more than 10 kids would need to pay the full $40. When I asked for his name and number she said she didn't have his number and couldn't give me his name, just like she said she couldnt give me Antons name. There's no corporate number, nothing. It was obvious they were being vengeful, so I asked her to call that district manager again. Not even 5 min later my price was back down to 17.99 for additional kids.
I simply just do not recommend this place for an event. There was one server and that girl was so sweet and helpful while the others just stayed at the front. Good luck to her. And what a headache...
Read moreI booked for my sons birthday and it was terrible.
we paid 31.90$ for the kids meal party.
Which was supposed to include a cake a 2 slices of pizza per child/guest, unlimited candy, unlimited drinks, 3 hours at the tables and a dedicated party host, goodie bags, invitations.
I booked the party and never received a call to confirm so I called them. They said the no longer had vendors that did the pizza/cake so they would give me a "discount" I paid 160$ deposit online and the lady told me I would pay 117$ at the door.
I arrived to the place and they charge me 198$ plus the 160$ i had already paid so where is the discount ? She said only 60$ discount. Like I spent more than 60$ on pizza and cake alone (that y'all were supposed to provide)
Also we did not have a dedicated party host. There was only 2/3 ladies running the entire place so there's no way anyone could be dedicated. The unlimited candy was gummy bears in a plate... like really that's sorry! We didn't get the invitations to give out.
The dragon came out at night when all out guest had already left , the goody bags I had to go get from them because they had forgotten to bring them.
The place in general was fun for kids but they're terrible for hosting a birthday.
the person in charge should re-evaluate their birthday party packages and how a party should be taken care of.
I really feel like I was ripped off. So I wouldn't recommend you guys booking a...
Read moreI am writing to make you aware of the poor conditions of the Houston Garden Center location. I was there 3 weeks ago and there was a smoke alarm beeping to tell you a battery needed to be replaced and the air conditioning wasn't working. I am here again today because my daughter loves this place. I was sure the problems would be remedied but they are not and there are more. There is ZERO air conditioning and instead they have fans going. This is Texas in mid June. It is almost 100 degrees today. This place is supposed to provide a place to get out of the heat. My daughter's face is literally bright pink. There is a large Tupperware full of brown water on a table under an air conditioning vent. How is that acceptable? There is literally lunch meat all over the floor and I had to go from table to table to find one with clean seats and a tabletop that wasn't sticky. There is trash inside of the play structures. There are multiple cars that will not work when you put a coin in. This place could be amazing and is much needed in the area but without some type of clean-up and maintenance I will not continue to come back and will also advise my friends and family not to come back as well. I will be contacting the fire Marshall to come out and do a check on the status of the smoke detector and check other hazards that I feel could really...
