Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Spring

We came in to eat after a long days work because neither of us wanted to cook. I ordered shrimp, spinach and artichoke quesadillas which sounded amazing. I was greeted promptly when I walked in the door and the manager on duty was nice as well. This was the only time I was greeted or spoken to by either of them. Our service was terrible. Pur server was either too busy with too many tables that were spread out through the restaurant...or was more interested in closing, I am unsure. We noticed an on duty cop that walked the parking lot and inside but two men walked out after bad service and everyone thought they walked their tabs...that was all too interesting to not investigate sp the management went out with the police to figure out the story behind the walk out. When I mentioned the quesadilla was too spicy there was not response other than "can I get you something else." Then I was told a spice on the shrimp was causing it to be spicy. In further viewing of the menu it was peppere jack cheese. I asked if they had any other cheese they could use and the server was more than confused. The lack of menu knowledge was astounding. I personally have worked for Lupe and this was the worst experience I have ever had. A manager had still not been by. I took two bites of my food and it was removed from the bill but when business is ran this way I dont even feel like giving my hard earned money to a visit this way. No manager has been by to follow up with the removal of food. Bus boys are literally removing out plates from our table to bus it while I am writing this review. It is 1020 but two tables near us havent even ordered yet. I am still sitting here!!!!!! I have never had a table cleared while I am still actively sitting at it. I will never suggest this to any one I know and make sure to include my review on Facebook

The barbacoa was terrible...

We went to eat at this restaurant last night and our service was horrible. Judith our server seemed not to care about anything. The host were nowhere to be found when we arrived we waited ten minutes for someone to greet us and no one ever came. My coworker had to go to the bar to ask someone to help us. We got sat at 8 pm and our server took some time to come greet us. We ordered drinks(water,coke, and some alcholic drinks) it took her ten minutes to bring out coke and water for the table. She never brought the alcholic drinks when we asked her for them after 25 minutes of waiting she told us she had dropped them and the bar was remaking them. We waited another 20 minutes for her to bring the alcholic drinks. We got tired of waiting so we went to the bar to ask what was going on the bartender informed us that the server had never rerung the drinks. She finally brought the drinks out but she never refilled the other drinks on the table. She never prebussed our table and my coworker had to keep handing her plates to take off the table. When the food finally came after an hour of waiting several plates were brought out wrong and some looked like they had just been slapped together. The rest of our party had to wait another 20 minutes to get their corrected food orders. The manager came by to talk to us and he seemed to not care about the service that had been provided to us by judith. Judith barely stopped by the table to check on us despite being the only table she had sat. It was a table of grown ups no children and we had some very simple orders and the fact that management did not seem to care about or trouble shocked us. I for one will not be going to this location again. Judith and management treated us horribly! We arrived at 8pm and didnt leave until after 10 thru no fault...

Wait time estimate was horrible. We were given 15-20 min. We waited an hour!!! The hostess that sat us wasn't listening very well and then she was rushing to take our order when we barely sat down. I explained 3 times we haven't had a chance to look at our menu. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is the BOOSTER SEAT for kids. They are cheap, and have no straps to buckle to the chair, the first time my child wiggled a little to reach for her drink, she damn near fell out of the chair and I had to catch her! The booster seat slid off of her chair. So get the highchair if your kid can fit in it. After I explained that, she still tried rushing us to order, when damn it took us an hour to sit down can we have a few minutes? Ordered the fish tacos, the mahi mahi was pretty seasoned, but the tacos were loaded with lettuce and unfortunately the taco was dry. There was no melted cheese or sauce from what we thought we would get. Our waiter was nice, and worked hard, but it took him almost to the end of the meal to fill our glass with water. The music was.WAY TOO LOUD!!!!! Especially when you're trying to chat with someone who is across the table but you practically have to yell. Why do they need 4 speakers in one tiny room? I don't need the next table to hear my conversation. We were pretty disappointed with the tacos that cost $17.00 when it's mostly lettuce, the in your face hostess who wasn't very hospitable, and the horrible estimated wait time!! Could've went to Pappasito's and their wait time is much better. Was celebrating my bday at this Lupe Tortilla and was not impressed. This was our first time at...
