ALDI — Attraction in Springdale

Huge thanks to Paul for his outstanding service today! While grocery shopping with my client, we ran into an issue when we discovered Ohio SNAP EBT cards were down. Paul went above and beyond, not only assisting us but also taking the initiative to call and find more information—something other staff members might not have done.

He stayed with us for an extra 10 minutes, trying to find a solution, and even offered to hold our items until the end of the day, preventing a major inconvenience.

Used to love this store. I have been going for years. Wonderful prices, friendly staff, they get us checked out fast, etc. They have the same group of cashiers everyday. Last time I was there I had a conversation with one of the employees and something was mentioned about her parents working from home due to the shut down; small talk. Next visit- same cashier. Small talked; asked if her parents were still at home. She SHOUTED: “Excuse me! I do not discuss my personal life at work!” I was mortified. Everyone heard her scream. The store was quiet. Ok, so the store is great if you like shopping at Aldi. Personally, it’s not really my thing but I had to give it 5 stars because it has a couple of products that I will not be able to get at any other grocery in my area. The Fremont fish and chips in the frozen section are UNBELIEVABLE! I bought the haddock and chips. Not too crazy about the chips, but that fish is like none other! I cooked it in my air fryer and it gives no hint that it has ever been frozen. It is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I will be going back tomorrow to buy whatever they have in stock.
