My first time at this park for the Wellspan event walk and talk with a doctor sponsored by Wellspan Cardiology. A great turnout at the beautiful Springettsbury Park located in York Pennsylvania. The park is very large and very well kept. Lots of things to see and do. I was very impressed with the diversity of people and activities I saw while in the park. People taking a leisurely stroll or walking their dogs. The basketball courts filled with people having a friendly game of basketball. There were teams practicing on the field. People simply relaxing talking to each other or on their phones enjoying the beautiful scenery. There is plenty of parking and the park was extremely clean and very well maintained. This is a fantastic place to relax or to get a day of walking in around the park grounds. Definitely a place for repeat visits. A great atmosphere and...
Read moreThis is a great park to bring the family to. The playground was recently remodeled from the old wooden park, which was still pretty awesome. The township always has events planned, like music in the amplitheatere on the weekends, food trucks on Fridays and fireworks twice a year. You can always go to the township website for a list of events. If you enjoy sports they have multiple basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. In the summer, they have a street hockey arena, which then turns to ice hockey in the winter. Pet friendly with clean up stations, bathrooms that are well taken care of and many pavilions to rent or a first come availability. Residents and non-residents enjoy this park all year long. It is definitely worth checking out the park and all it...
Read moreAlways super nice at Springettsbury. The basketball courts are the absolute best. You pay a quarter for the lights at night, and it's so nice. They have a great skate hockey arena. The playground is nice. It has these small zip lines that we all play with. You can't not smile while on a zip line. The park has an amphitheater, and a bunch of picnic tables, and pavilion areas. It has baseball fields, and just places to lay a blanket down and watch the clouds /stars. It's clean, and the other park guests are polite as well. Sometimes they have little events for kids on Saturdays when the weather is nice. They have concerts and things going on to check out on their online schedule too. I...
