I have gone here a couple of times over the years and the staff is super friendly and welcoming, but the owner's customer service is very poor. This rating is not a reflection of the staff, but purely the owner. For example, one time I wanted to come in to tan and then get a spray tan. I called to make the appointment, and the owner fought me on tanning before getting a spray tan. Insistent that no one tans before getting a spray tan and the process should be reversed. I worked at a tanning salon years ago, and it was commonplace -- we called it a "tanning cocktail." If this has worked for me, and I am happy with the results, then it shouldn't matter the order I do my tanning. Further, I confirmed with the owner that this was not breaking any rules or harming the equipment. I have never encountered an employee, especially an owner, who has directly sabotaged their business. The next time I went there and made an appointment to get a spray tan, I show up, and the salon was closed. No communication that my appointment needed to be moved. Now today, I made another appointment for a spray tan at 4:30, show up at 4:35, and the owner remarks "I have been waiting for you so I can close the shop and head home." I could understand this remark if I was 10 or 15 minutes late, but 5 minutes? Completely unwarranted and rude. As a business owner myself, I could never imagine treating a customer that way. Some advice for the owner -- greet people when they walk through the door with a genuine tone, ask people how they're doing and don't treat them like a nuisance, and understand that there isn't always one way to do something. The passive aggressive attitude will ultimately end up hurting your business, especially since it's one that it slowly tapering off. I will not be returning and urge other people who have this experience to not feel gaslight by all the other seemingly positive reviews. Hopefully, this can be a learning experience...
Read moreYou definitely have the spa vacation feeling when you go here . They have beautiful lights, floors decorated and very island and holiday themed. Clean as can be and staff is amazing. Jen the owner has been always professional but also compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful to all people, no judgement, and a ideal good person all around. She is always listening to all customers and never rushes you . She gives full attention and cleans beds thoroughly and everything. Rooms have wipes towels and body perfume spray. She took every saftey precaution for covid -19. I travel and been to other tanning salons and nothing really came close in comparison. Highly recommend this salon. I always get the perfect tan and lots of sales and accessories to help nails from fading hair and teeth whitening while your tan. There’s probably more but I don’t know all the stuff. Read moreI don’t even know where to start.... this salon is amazing!!!! I have been to every salon in “delco” but never looked anywhere else after I walked through the door almost 8 years ago!! Jenn (the owner) has gone above and beyond. The salon is beautiful, tranquil and super clean. Everyone that works there is super helpful with everything! They always have the newest and best lotions, moisturizers etc.. Each room has its own towel, sanitized eye googles and a refreshing body spray if you choose to use after your tan. Jenn also has an amazing beauty bar for you to freshen up after your tan and try the new moisturizers. Each individual room is so clean and put together. You cannot find this anywhere else, trust me!!! I don’t live near Springfield California Sun anymore but I still drive a half hour out of my way during the week. I not only have an amazing tan but I love coming in and catching up with Jenn and the girls! It makes my day!! Do not even think about going...
