If you’re on the hunt for a pizza experience that combines bold flavors with a unique twist, look no further than Icon Pizza in Springfield, PA. Last night, I had the pleasure of indulging in two of their signature offerings: the Motown Pizza and the Greek Detroit Style Pizza. Spoiler alert: both left a lasting impression! Motown Pizza: First up was the Motown Pizza, a delightful homage to the Detroit-style pizza that’s been making waves. The thick, rectangular crust was a sight to behold, perfectly golden and crisp on the edges while remaining fluffy and airy in the center. Each bite offered a satisfying crunch that’s hard to resist. Topped generously with a rich, tangy tomato sauce that has just the right amount of sweetness, the flavor profile was elevated with a blend of savory spices. The cheese—oh, the cheese! A blend created a gooey, stretchy experience that paired harmoniously with the sauce. To top it off, the pepperoni was perfectly placed, slightly crispy around the edges and bursting with flavor. Overall, the Motown Pizza is a symphony of textures and tastes that will have you singing its praises long after the last slice. Greek Detroit Style Pizza: Next, I ventured into the Greek Detroit Style Pizza, which was nothing short of a culinary revelation. This pizza took the classic Detroit style and infused it with vibrant Mediterranean flavors. The crust maintained that same delightful crunch, but the addition of olive oil gave it an extra layer of richness. The toppings were a feast for the eyes and the palate. A generous layer of feta cheese added a creamy tang, while Kalamata olives brought a briny punch that contrasted beautifully with the sweetness of the tomato sauce. Fresh red onions rounded out the toppings, providing a refreshing crunch that made each bite feel light yet satisfying. What truly stood out was the balance of flavors. The Greek spices harmonized with the traditional pizza elements, creating a unique fusion that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you rethink your typical toppings and inspires a desire for more adventurous pairings. Final Thoughts: Rating 5/5 Pricing for the pizzas were very inexpensive and the quality was outstanding. Icon Pizza in Springfield, PA, has truly elevated the pizza game with their Motown and Greek Detroit Style Pizzas. Both offerings showcase a commitment to quality ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. Whether you’re a pizza purist or an adventurous eater, you’ll find something to love here. I highly recommend stopping by Icon Pizza for a pizza (or two) of these delicious creations. You won’t be disappointed! The service is exceptional my husband loves the owner and could not stop raving about him.

This was a pretty good Detroit style pizza. A little on the expensive side for pizza but I don't mind paying a bit more to support small business. Pizza was good, a little on the greasy side and tasted little like pizza hut to me. But overall it was good and we will order from icon again! I said 7.8 and my husband went 8.1 on the barstool pizza scale. Review update: ordered from there again last night. This time we got pepperoni & sausage. Amazing!! Changed my review from 4 stars to 5! Well deserved. Delicious pizza.

Omg. Ordered take out. Best pizza hands down I've had in years. The 6 mile was amazing with thinly sliced toppings (fresh mushrooms) and real olives. Done perfectly. And the Pepperoni and hot honey in just the right amounts-hot honey not too much , very subtle and so freaking good. Love the old time pepperoni discs. Absolutely delicious. Getting it 2 days in a row. So glad I finally found great pizza in SE Delco. Parking out back.

This pizza is literal crack it is so freaking good. It’s so airy and crunchy on the edges, it’s a thicker slice but somehow is so light it defies physics. I once drove in a snowstorm for this ridiculously good pizza. I have only tried the Detroiter and got so hooked I got it 3 times in like 8 days. I dream and think about this pizza at any given time of the day. My mouth is watering as I write this review. This is the best pizza in Delaware County. I hoard my freaking weight watchers points for this amazingness bc if I didn’t I would eat this all the time and be on my 600 lb life. Idk what the Detroit style trick is but they must sprinkle literal crack on the pizza. They put the sauce on after and the sauce is so banging. It somehow reheats really well? Airfrying the slices is the only way to reheat this pizza. Okay I’m done. I could go...

Let me tell yall something…..when you say you have a taste for pizza…this is the pizza!!! Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The do Detroit and Neapolitan style pizza. Me and my hubby both got Detroit style. And an order of potato wedges. When I tell you the crunch on the pizza was top tier, the sauce/cheese and toppings was so fresh, the dough of the pizza was pillowy with right amount the olive oil it was baked in-perfect! And don’t get me started on those wedges! Flavorful hot and fresh. Best wedges in the area. I went yesterday 9/26/25-went back today to get some more wedges to eat with our leftovers, because the 9x9 was the perfect size and were good size slices. This is my spot from now on, forget everyone else. Go for yourself and I bet you will be leaving a...
