Overall, this is a nice part of the entire museum complex. It was my first visit and my immediate impression is that it was a transportation museum, not exactly a history museum. It wasn’t what I was expecting. For old car and motorcycle enthusiasts, you’ll love it. I was more looking for city, state or American history, and there was absolutely some of that, great exhibits too, but it’s not the focus.
That said, the museum is well laid out, very clean, accessible restrooms and elevators. It’s pointedly welcoming of LGBTQ and diverse communities. I found the security/staff to be friendly.
This establishment is appropriate for people of all ages. Can accommodate mobility needs in terms of space and seating peppered around.
The cost is a bargain in my opinion. This is my first experience with a collection of museums all in a cluster with common parking. You simply walk from one to another at your leisure. If you spend time within a drivable distance, I would recommend a membership because chances are you’ll...
