Juguitos Healthy Grab & Go — Restaurant in Springfield

I’ve been patronizing the business since 2021. Upon my encounters this year, the customer service has declined, for me, personally. The staff is not warm and welcoming and the owner specifically, has somewhat of a bad attitude Everytime I come into the establishment. He always has an off putting look on his face. Just this past week I walked in and the owner was at the register, I said “Hello” and he stared at me silent, I said “picking up” he replied “name” and I told him. Upon him handing me my drink I said “thank you” and again, no response. After voicing my concerns, I was ignored by the owner, until I questioned why my concerns were not addressed. Instead of taking accountability and reassuring me as a customer, with a genuine apology and resolution, he chose to just post other positive reviews and respond a lengthy message about how they get busy and I was tearing down the business by voicing my experience. I expressed accountability and a resolution was a reasonable response to my concerns and experience, but he simply responded saying “we appreciate your feedback”. As a business owner sometimes you need to be real about your energy and vibe and own up to that and make things right. That is not what occurred. I will no longer patronize or recommend this...

I usually only review when I have only good things to say. I tried contacting the phone number provided with this feedback and could not get through.

This is the second time I’ve ordered an Acai bowl with peanut butter and was not given peanut butter. I know it sounds silly but I paid a dollar for it. It also makes a big difference in what I order.

The first time they were all out of peanut butter and I was informed when picking up. This time I was not.

Other than that the Acai base is really nice and the fruit is fresh. The bowl was tasty but missing a key ingredient that I paid for. Could also use more chia seeds seeing how that was a key factor in choosing this bowl (Fiesta Bowl).

I walked in there and ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. Let me tell you it was refreshing and they have a huge varieties of smoothies you can ask them to make or you can get their signature smoothies. I can’t wait to go back and try their other smoothies. You should go ahead get yourself a smoothie. You won’t be disappointed. 👍🏽

08/23/25 UPDATE: I’m so happy to see how much the restaurant has improved! Just like the first time I ordered, I got the strawberry banana smoothie, and it tastes super good. It goes perfectly with Juguitos Chicken Sandwich, which really hit the spot. It’s definitely worth every penny.
