Petra Restaurant and Hookah lounge — Restaurant in Springfield

Used to go every weekend until I went one time on a Wednesday night with my two friends. We ordered one hookah since one of my friends doesn't really smoke and just wanted to try it. We also ordered some juice. After about an hour, one of the male waiters came up and asked if we are going to order anything else, after saying no he insisted that if we wanted to stay we needed to order something else. Mind you this guy never even refilled our hookah. After exchanging some words we were told to leave because they needed a table for other guests. I have never been back since and would never recommend this place to anyone. They don't care about service they just care about money. And those cut water bottles people use to blow smoke bubbles never get washed, they literally take the water bottle that some stranger just used, cut it, and bring it out to the next table who asks. Great way to spread diseases! I know this because the person who worked there told us one day. Pretty nasty...

Went there last night for my first time. I'd been wanting to go for a while so when I saw them come up on Groupon I decided to finally check them out. Walked in fully prepared to spend the $30 Groupon on sheesha only and also eat, drink spend lots of money but they turned me away because they "JUST" (according to the door girl) decided to not accept Groupon on Friday nights. This is NOT anywhere in the fine print of the Groupon and they pretty much ruined my birthday plans even after I explained it was the only night I had a sitter. She told me to come back on Monday. Who wants to go out on a Monday night? ! Mind you the place was DEAD they should have been happy...

Though I would have loved to gatekeep this place because it’s my favorite spot! It would be unfair for others to miss out on it! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and shisha is great. Prices are reasonable. I usually come here during weekdays, the ambience is relaxing but I went this Saturday and they had a dj party going. It was fun and the dj was excellent. I ordered the Lamb chops, hummus, and orange juice. The food was delicious I ate it so fast then remembered that I didn’t take pictures of the food “sorry”. The shisha was Tony Montana a house special, recommend for those that like citrusy flavors. Totally...
