Very narrow field of art. The cost was $10/adult. If you bring younger kids, they had 2-3 small "create" stations. One room had several pieces created by one artist (kind of intriguing, actually. Pictures and some explanation included in this post). One large room (1/2 of that side of the gallery) dedicated to one artist. The other side of the building there was one small room dedicated to recent art works (within the past 10 years or so). Read moreThe staff was friendly and the facilities were adequate. One wing was mostly empty conference rooms and studios. The grounds were pretty and the landscaping at the front entrance incorporating natural stone was inviting and unique.
I was disappointed with the overall quality of the artwork exhibited in the museum. A large portion of it resembled a high school art show or the art hall at the Ohio State Fair. The emphasis was on amateur and local modern art.

A few other paintings some as old as 200+ years, a unique hat exhibit, and a tessellation artist are also there currently. Outside there's Cliff Park with beautiful cliffs to look at, a playground not too far down, the Mad River flows right next to it with a bike path and huge boulders you can walk/climb on right by the river.
