Firefly Boutique — Local services in Springfield

This store is super cute. But the staff is rude, the one employee working would not acknowledge my family and I (all grown women). The employee would only acknowledge customers who were petite and very skinny. As a Mid size women I am use to these experiences but from a small local business you would have thought they would do better. When I asked the store employee about the stores sizing since I could only find M-L I was told they offered all sizes from XS-XL but I would have to dig around to find a XS or XL since they are "so popular" and "sell out fast". An addition to the XL size being mentioned more often than the XS when answering my question. Love the fatphobic energy that was given off, made me feel very welcomed, followed by the employee walking away rather than asking if I was in search of something particular or if I need any assistance in finding something to feel free to ask. Whether this statement was true or not is beyond me, but wouldn't it make sense if a size is "so popular" shouldn't a business have a larger stock of those sizes? Or just admitted the shop in not...

I have shopped in this store several times since it has been open & have always had a great experience! Recently, I stopped in looking for clothing to wear to a viewing & funeral. Kristine is incredibly knowledgeable! She picked out several items for me to try on and was very attentive with every piece offering advice and answering any questions or concerns I had about how something fit. I am petite at only 5’ 1” and even though the store doesn’t exclusively carry petite size clothing, Kristine is so versed in searching and stocking her inventory, I was able to find exactly what I needed to feel confident and comfortable in clothing that was appropriate for the occasion and that fit my small frame. I will continue to shop here and will continue to consult with Kristine for other purchases when I need style advice!...

Springfield, OH, especially the downtown area, is incredibly grateful for Firefly Boutique! The owner and staff provide Superb customer service!
