Stella Bleu Bistro — Restaurant in Springfield

Most intelligent people know that when you open a new business it’s hard to predict how much staffing you will need not that I had ANY issue at all, but others here complaining about that must just be ignorant. We need to support our local businesses to help Springfield grow and not complain about the service at an EXCEPTIONALLY DELIGHTFUL NEW RESTAURANT such as this fine establishment. With this being said PLEASE be mindful of your reviews. This amazing new retro bistro features tasteful elegant decor everywhere. Crystal chandeliers and blue accent lighting very tastefully done. A magical ambience not typically seen in Springfield and trust me I’ve been all over the world. Amazingly creative food choices with a fusion of Italian, Cuban, Chinese, Thai and American as well as Seafood. The beautiful and delicious cocktails are outstanding and at affordable prices. You must come try the food. Seasonal salad was heaven and the Black Bean Rangoon was exceptional and trust me I was hesitant. I will agree with several FB reviews that they have the best burger we’ve ever had hands down. Better come soon this place is gonna pack them in. We were in downtown Springfield at an appointment and decided to get lunch here. The store is decorated very nicely inside. There is a modern contemporary design with a choice of booths or tables. We were met at the front station by the host and shown to our booth. The seats were comfortable. The wait staff arrived quickly to show us the menus and explain specials, and take our drink orders. I ended up getting the sesame chicken, and my spouse got the fish and chips. The food arrived in a very short time. The chicken was on a bed of fried rice. There was a flavorful sauce, and the meat was tender. There was a whisper of heat on the back end of the spice blend. I really liked it. It's not really spicy but just a bit. The fish and chips were nice and crunchy and featured a sweet honey drizzle. That was a nice touch. There was a big pile of fries served. More than we could eat. We both took home leftovers. New opening they have a lot of bugs to work out the service was too long the food cost way too much it is a very nice place the drinks are good I was very disappointed with my visit for the price for the food for the service for the wait nothing was correct it took almost three hours to get our food ordered and to the table. $30 for a pork chop they're calling a pork porterhouse that's a rip-off I don't know where they think they're selling food they must think there's some place as in Springfield Ohio the only thing good about the experience was seeing all of the people that I got to see coming out and wasting their money all of us had shared experiences that night sad day mine was not the worst that I heard but if those people choose to write a review then you can hear about what happened to them but otherwise you can take your shot and see what you think I think it's overpriced I think it's not going to last in this town too expensive bad service no organization between the kitchen and servers makes for a long bad night for...
