The Diamondaire — Attraction in St. Charles

My husband and I were referred to Billy by a friend of my parents. Billy is AMAZING.

For my engagement ring, we looked through Billy's inventory and I found two rings I loved. I told him I liked the top-down view of one ring, and the side view of the other, so he built me a custom ring. It was also very important to me to have a peek-a-boo sapphire in the undercarriage.

We did the same for my wedding band - I found a ring in the store that I liked, but it wasn't quite right, so Billy asked me a series of questions to see how we could make it perfect for me. My set is customized versions of his inventory.

My husband's ring is 100% customized, there is nothing like it in Billy's store. Billy and my husband went back and forth for probably 3 weeks with updates to the design. It's based off of Gimli's helmet from Lord of the Rings, and Billy was excited to help us and make a completely custom, nerdy ring!

We also just went to Billy on 10/11 to have our rings cleaned and my wedding band replated (it was looking a little yellow) and, honestly, we took these rings home looking better than they did they day we bought them.

Our next custom project is a statement piece, a blue sapphire art deco ring! Billy asked me to text him pictures of what I like and I can't wait to see how he makes it mine!

Third trip - Picked up the engagement ring and wedding band today. I couldn't be happier! They are absolutely perfect and even better than expected! Excellent service and top notch quality pieces.

Second trip - After my fantastic experience with being sized with a ring i decided to go back to take a look at my options for an engagement ring. Billy helped me find the perfect ring! It was a super smooth, comfortable, and relaxing process. He talked me through everything with kindess and consideration. We looked at a few variations, but ended up going with the first diamond and second setting he showed me. I'm telling you he really knows his stuff and his clients! He was extremely patient in answering all my questions and also assisting with the financial side of things. I loved that he has his family there as well - his beautiful wife was so very kind and helpful and so was his little boy. His dog Adrian was a super good support as well! I would 100% recommend Billy and his family to anyone!

First trip - I stopped in to be sized for an engagement ring. I met Billy and he took 1 look at my hand and guessed my size. 7.5 fit like a glove! I was so impressed with his customer service and his dog Adrian was awesome! The place feels like home - warm, inviting, and very accomodating. I’d been on the hunt for a “black opal” for 6 years. I walked into The Diamondaire and asked point blank if they had one. I had asked this question of many area jewelers for years.

Billy had just returned from a show and happened to have ONE, that was loose. I asked that we get it put into a setting, and that I didn’t care what the cost was. I’d been searching for years, and this stone was sentimental to me.

Billy and his staff helped me pick a setting and a few days later I was able to bring home the most beautiful, important ring of my life. I later went back and picked out a band that I thought looked beautiful with my ring; diamonds of course.

I’ve been in and out of that store so many times in the last year. To make purchases, sales, get cleanings, resizing or to just chat with friends and love on Adrian.

They’re always ready with a friendly smile, hug/handshake and a glass of whatever you’re drinking that day.
