I have a child that's been getting picked on since school started. The first time a child was trying to cheat off her class work so my daughter got loud and told her to stop cheating off her paper so the suspended my daughter for 10 days because she was loud they said she was the aggressive one. The just two weeks ago two students was getting on the school bus and my daughter was sitting in a seat that one of the young ladies wanted and she told my daughter to get up out her seat which they don't have assigned seats. My daughter told her she not getting up cuz she was there first so then another young lady joined in with the other girl to try and get her out the seat but my daughter got upset and start defending herself. So when it was time to get off the bus the girls had they mother waiting on my daughter. The mother tried to fight my daughter. My daughter attended GCAA from 6th through graduation. She has since completed an associate degree along with coding certifications & esthetician training. I've never seen Any school have NO bulling. That seemed to be a big subject when my daughter was in school they were having a big push against bullying. Although I think that's a little silly because that is never going to stop ever I don't believe it will and I believe kids are better if they are left to stand up to it and figure it out on their own ( unless the bullying is physical, that's assault), but I thought the teachers were on point & professional without hovering. My wife our daughter and I moved to saint Louis from new Hampshire in June 2021 we new no one our zip code is for Maplewood but we actually live on the south side after finding that our daughter couldn't go to Maplewood schools the superintendent of Maplewood referred us to cipp who I'm very familiar with back in Boston my niece and nephew are graduate's of kipp in Lynn Massachusetts needless to say the staff welcomes our daughter with open arms and, and my wife and myself couldn't have asked for a better transition for our daughter who instantly made friends and will graduate with the...
