🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Majestic Masterpiece with Five-Star Hospitality – The Fabulous Fox Delivers On and Off Stage
The Fabulous Fox Theatre is more than just a venue—it's an institution of grandeur, grace, and world-class entertainment. With its breathtaking architecture, gilded details, and golden glow of 1920s opulence, the Fox continues to set the stage not only for Broadway’s finest but for an experience unlike any other in St. Louis.
But what truly elevates the experience to something extraordinary is the Fox Club—an oasis of calm and class tucked within the spectacle. From the moment Justin (my husband) and I step through the private entrance, we are welcomed with a warmth that rivals even the most seasoned luxury hotels we've encountered in our many travels.
The Fox Club membership office staff is, quite simply, the gold standard in customer service. Professional, personable, and passionate, they make every show feel like a VIP affair. Their dedication keeps us renewing our membership year after year—and we’ll continue to do so for as long as we call St. Louis home.
Special applause goes to Christy at the Fox Club bar, whose charm and attention to detail make each visit feel like a personal celebration. And let’s not forget the lovely woman at the Fox Club door and hostess stand—always cheery, always gracious, and always a highlight of our night.
Of course, the Broadway programming is spectacular—a thrilling mix of national tours, fan favorites, and unexpected delights. The acoustics soar, the lighting dazzles, and the energy is electric.
And if you haven’t taken the Saturday historic tour of the theatre, you are truly missing out. It's a deep dive into the Fox's storied past, a love letter to the golden age of showbiz, and a rare chance to stand in the spotlight yourself.
Bravo, Fabulous Fox. You’ve captured our...
Read moreThe most ornate and welcoming building I have seen in my 60 years on the planet! A real feeling of rich old-school luxury permeates the whole theater, from the vast lobby to the four floors and curving stairwells leading to the amazing auditorium. The theater organ was playing while we waited in the lobby, drinking coffee, for the musical to begin. I felt like I had stepped back in time about 50 years. It was easy to imagine the likes of Bob Hope and Red Skelton appearing here and feeling at home.
We saw the musical Wicked, which was decidedly not as wicked as the title suggests, but a lighthearted look at the origins of the characters in "The Wizard of Oz."
The live pit orchestra was stellar. Someone said that's all they have here - no digital tracks - yay! The seating was comfortable. Some tricky ramping at the end of our row (CC) that almost had me going for a tumble. Might be marked with tape to alert visitors. As long as the lines were for the restrooms at intermission, my 84 year old mother and friends managed to make it 'there and back again' so kudos for the pretty amazing engineering and staff to that kept that line moving.
So overall, it was a very enjoyable evening! Thanks to the management, staff, performers, and all the behind the scenes folks who made the evening possible. Highly recommend going and I'll definitely return if the opportunity arises! It truly...
Read moreI absolutely love the Fox! It takes you back to a more glamours times. The variety of shows if wonderful. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Although, I would not recommend spending money on the buffet dinner, the quality for the price is not worth it.
Access Info: Accessible parking is locacted in the lot directly behind the theater, even though you may not be a Fox Club member, they let you in for access. However, there are not van accessible spots. The most easily accessible door is the access door located on the east side of the line of doors you will see from this parking lot. The front entrance is also accessible with no steps. Carpeting throughout the Fox is plush which makes for a tough push. Accessible seating is located on most levels, but I don't recommend the far sides of the main floor as you cannot see the entire stage. Elevator access to each floor is with a historic, gorgeous elevator. There is an entire hallway of individual, large, accessible restrooms located on the main floor to the left of the main staircase (when looking at the staircase). Accessible restrooms are also located on...
