I have been there for years, and all my 7 babies go there for ALL services even when they have a running nose. Over the summer, I took 3 of my babies there for teeth cleaning. When I picked them up, they refused to give me 2 or more discount. I asked, and they told me that there is a new rule: "All babies must be seen by the vet annually for check up in order to get a discount." None was related to me when I dropped my babies off in the A.M. for their appointments. I went through several people work at the front desk to get my discount. I finally asked for the manager. He told me the rule is new and must be enforced. He still refused to give my discount. I then asked to speak to the owner. He said, "it's the new owner," "Vet," and no longer Dr. Z. I asked him to call the owner. He stepped away for a while and came out and told me they would honor my discount. WOW... REALLY??? HMMM..."i was thinking to myself... the THOUSANDS of dollars that I have spent at the Vet, and they are treating me like this." I called and left a voicemail to get one of my babies' prescription refill on Monday. I received a voicemail stating that a letter was sent out along with their records advising us to seek service elsewhere. I have been traveling quite a bit for the last 3 months, so I didn't check my mail thoroughly. My babies have their 3-year rabies shots, n it's not due until 2024, so why do i have to bring them in annually if they are doing great. They get their teeth cleaned yearly as well. WHAT???? REALLY??? What kind of business is that? They decided to change some rules around and DID NOT disclose that to me and expected me to accept whatever they said out of nowhere. I have noticed a few major issues in the servicing industry since COVID. People are up charging everything because they know that our furry babies need the service...etc... I understand the supply and demands situation. Customer service is getting worse in all aspects of the retail industry. Overall, what the Watson Road Veterinary Clinic did was very wrong and money hungry. Businesses like this shouldn't exist.

If you had more stars we would go higher than five we've been going there for a little over 30 years and we've been going to Jay since he's started I hated to see him just go to Saturdays and we see Jay as often as we can but Dr Zeis is fantastic and handles the good and the bad especially very emotional times when we need him. we love the place they treat our dogs fantastic no matter how sick and deathly sick the saddest time they are there with us we are very very glad we have this place that take our animals we would not take them to no other place and I know they know that because look how many years we have been going there.

After 15 years with my beloved Seamus, I had to say goodbye this week. Thanks to the compassionate care of Dr. Schwartz, his medical team and everyone at Watson Road Vet Clinic, from the front desk to the back room and beyond, I know he passed peacefully and we were, as always, treated with respect and kindness. I have been taking my pets, which have been many, to Watson Road since the 1980s, and although there have been some recent changes, it is reassuring to know this is still Watson Road Vet Clinic. OK, one difference...more and better chairs in the lobby. Yay!

I will never go back to this vet. I made an appointment to get my dog checked examined, teeth/ears cleaned and nails trimmed. When I got there, they didn't have my appointment booked and the kid at the desk was not friendly or helpful. He barely even looked up when he was talking, acted like he'd rather be anywhere else. He told me to fill out a paper and then took my dog. I was expecting to see the vet and be present for the exam, but there was no exam or vet to meet. After I left, I almost went back to get him because I was uncomfortable with my experience thus far. The only reason I didn't is because a friend of mine recommended this vet. The kid behind the counter told me to call between 1-3 to see if my dog would be ready for pickup… shouldn't THEY call ME when my dog is awake and ready to go home?! When I called to check on him, the same guy at the desk answered and put me on hold. After being on hold for 8 minutes, I decided to just go to the vet and pick him up, I stayed on the phone, and when I got to the vet, I had been on hold for 15 mins (I live a couple blocks away). It took another 10-15 minutes just for them to acknowledge my dog was there and ok and another 5 before he was brought out to me. The lady just handed me some ear drops and told me to give them twice a day. I asked what was wrong with his ears because I had previously wanted to talk to a vet about his ears because he's been having problems. She didn't know and had to go ask. A few minutes later she just say, "he has an ear infection" and handed my dog over. I had to ask for any pre-anasthesia care because she forgot to give me that paper. When I got home, I saw that his ears were still black inside and hadn't actually be thoroughly cleaned. $220 later, I still never got a vet exam for my senior dog, still has dirty ears, and I still have unanswered questions about my dog's health since I didn't get to talk to a vet.

I feel like the price was reasonable, but the service, attitudes, and care was terrible. They did a really good job on grinding his nails down. My dog didn't seam hurt/anxious/sad when I brought him home, so I guess he was treated alright, although he's very laid back and doesn't complain about anything. I will never go back to this vet… I wouldn't take this treatment from a doctor's office, and I won't accept...

SHAMEFUL. I am putting in a complaint with the state licensing board about the "treatment" my pet received here. My dog was injured at daycare and this is the clinic they normally go to. The vet supposedly put in 5 sutures, although I could conveniently only find 3, and apparently didn't notice that my dogs elbow (less than 3 inches away from the cut they sewed up, mind you) was swollen to 3x its normal size, and there was also a pocket of fluid on his chest right next to it. He also sent my dog home without ANY pain meds OR antibiotics By the time I picked him up and saw the swelling, he was having trouble walking, and by the next morning, maybe 16 hours after he'd seen the vet, he couldn't put any weight on his leg and it was so painful he would not even eat. I immediately booked an appointment with my regular vet for that evening after I got home from work, and when we went there, I ended up with a $300 bill covering meds, an exam, and an x-ray because by that point, my dog's leg was so swollen and painful the vet was worried he'd actually broken something. So now he's finally starting to get better until, gosh darn it, wouldn't you know, ALL THE SUTURES PULLED OUT TODAY. If you can't even sew up a tiny 1 inch cut well enough that it stays closed for 3 days, how in the world did you become a vet? Spoke to my other vet, and my options are to have her sew it back closed (which, because of how shabbily it was done before, would now be a much more major procedure and cost at least $500) or keep the wound clean and accept that it's going to heal really ugly.

And, of course I called the clinic to speak to someone and no one answers.

Hopefully this gets...
