My friend and I came in this evening for some dinner. My friend has allergies and expressed this to the employee, a female, that she needed her to wash her hands and change her gloves and stay with her bowl down the line OR have the person she handed the bowl to also wash her hands and change her gloves. The lady who was with her bowl was super nice; However, the other employee (also a woman) threw a verbal fit about my friend’s allergies. She began ranting on, loudly, about how my friend wanted “special treatment” and to “cut the line”. She wasn’t cutting the line because all the bowls ahead of her were MY bowls and we came in TOGETHER. Finally, we went to the register to check out and she was STILL running her mouth about my friend having an allergy. I finally said something to her and said “that’s enough. There is no reason for you to continue running your mouth about my friend’s allergies!” She responded with “I can talk to my coworkers about whatever I want.”
Then the male employee who was checking us out began to ask my friend for her specific allergies and why she’d need their gloves to be changed… it was such an awful experience that it ruined the whole trip.
The lady who made her bowl was super sweet and made them perfectly… but for an employee to complain to a customer about their allergy needs right to her face when her need was quite simple, to change her gloves, is absurd and super unprofessional. She wasn’t even the one who needed to change her gloves!
2 stars because the kind employee who made her bowl...
Read moreDecided to go to Qdoba yesterday for a burrito. The woman who made it rushed me through. Seemed impatient. “Anything else?” “Anything else?” She was moving faster than I was. She couldn't seem to wait to get my order over with, and was moving toward the register as fast as she could, always a step ahead of me. I realized when I got home that there were no beans in my burrito. She had been rushing, and never asked me what kind of beans I wanted, like they usually do, and I was so frazzled, I forgot. I called and talked to a gentleman who was very nice. He said they would remake the burrito, just mention his name. I told him I would come in tomorrow. That was today. So I went in and they were just as unfriendly, almost acted as though I was just trying to get free food. They didn’t say that, but it’s the vibe I got. I noticed the food-makers were pretty nice, and very patient, with two old ladies in front of me. But when it was my turn, the guy just rushed me and was extremely unfriendly. So was the other food maker, and the woman at the register. How about instead of acting like I’m inconveniencing them, why don’t they say, “We’re sorry about our mistake yesterday. I hope this one works out better for you.” No, they pretty much ignored me. I’m...
Read moreVery unhappy with my experience at this location and I will not be returning to this one. My husband and I have ate Qdoba for years at locations all around St Louis and outside of St Louis. This evening I ordered my usual impossible meat bowl. The portion was 1/3 of the usual I’ve had for years at multiple locations. I asked the lady about the portion size. She just stares at me. Her manager happens to hear my question and asks what the problem was so I asked her the same. Her response was you’re only supposed to get 1 scoop of everything. That may be true but this scoop just covered the spoon. She also stated employees at this particular location were over serving and no longer there. My question wasn’t just for this location because I get the same size everywhere so I just said ok, I understand. The girl getting my bowl together coped an attitude and was quiet with her eyes avoiding me this rest of the transaction. I told her I was just asking a question and wasn’t trying to be a pain. I said thank you but the lady didn’t say a word in response or even look at me. I provided a picture of what I’m told every Qdoba serves and no, I hadn’t taken...
