Been bowling at Ten Pin for 10 years now. Started bowling competitively in High School and began to see a different perspective on Bowling Alleys. Ten Pin lanes in the past few years changed management, and it has done wonders for their business. The staff are cool people and prompt to assist you, and the prices are great, especially if you have your own shoes, and they have deals 6 nights a week.
A highlight is their Tuesday night special where you can get unlimited bowling for like $7, and they're open until 2am.
The equipment, despite popular belief, is quite new. The pinsetters and equipment in the back of house operates much more consistently than their old counterparts. And the new computer system is much better than the old janky computers.
The lanes are well oiled, but if you're trying to practice or bowl high games, make sure you go in the afternoon. Those lanes see alot of foot traffic so it can either be very dry, or have oil all over the lane. It's nice that they keep the lanes as oiled as they do, because I get a very consistent reaction from my ball thanks to it.
I've included some series scores that I've gotten from bowling casually at 10 Pin. I would suggest anyone that is a fan or bowling, casual or experienced, to check out 10 Pin. It's one of the best houses in...
Read moreWe had an awesome time on a Saturday night and got lucky enough to have two empty lanes on either side of us so we felt like we had a lot of space to move around and chill. The TV animations while you bowl are hilarious and we enjoyed not expecting what was going to pop up next. Plenty of balls to choose from, but some don’t have easily legible sizes on them so you have to kind of guess or feel it out. They replaced the touch key pads since I had last gone here in 2020 I think (before the pandemic hit) so that was awesome to see! Picture included of the cool touch pads. That’s the most up to date thing you’re going to see here so don’t get your hopes up for some swanky bowling experience. The shoes are old, the balls are old, the bathrooms are old, the seating is old, etc. BUT it has a charm to it and I cannot say enough that I usually prefer bowling here because the prices are fair for literally everything. Shoes, games, food, drinks, etc. All very reasonable compared to other bowling venues and the wait times for a lane on a weekend is way shorter here usually. The staff are also very kind and we really enjoyed their hospitality. Ron was a great bartender too! This place is old, but this spot is so...
Read moreAvoid this place with kids. Had a horrible experience. We had family from out of town and we rented 4 lanes for 2 hours. There were several kids in our group and the people next to us were triggered by anything the kids did. We tried to be careful, never let them cross to their side and tried to stay out of their way but the kids took a while having a turn and that bothered them because they said it was distracting (the kids never crossed to their side or interfered with their game) they yelled at us many times, they would say snarky comments every turn and were very aggressive the whole time. Tried to get the manager to help and he said there wasn’t anything he could do, he moved them one lane over (same seat) in a completely empty bowling alley. This will be our last time here, we go bowling often because our kids love it and we’ve NEVER had an experience like this. I felt unsafe and stressed out the whole time. I asked the manager to let us leave and just give us the money back for the whole hour we had left and didn’t want to play anymore, he said no. This was a Saturday at 2 so not a time you wouldn’t expect kids around. Our family will always remember this awful experience and will...
