Hello. First, I have a response to the guy waiting a long time without being given assistance. Dude, if you are waiting as long as an hour without asking for help, isn’t that partially your fault for not asking? These guys are not the type to refuse to try to answer questions. They will answer your questions and even laugh and play around with you if you are the fun seeking type. I know that these guys have also donated several comics to be used with needy students at local schools. So, they are also a charitable group. I’ve been to this store several times. Sometimes, comic owners have the assumption that you know what you are looking for especially if you are looking that long without asking. I’ve never been to a comic shop and been greeted with, “How may I assist you today?” Owners typically don’t bother you until you ask, because some people get frustrated when they are asked questions and have a desire for privacy. The destination has the friendliest staff of any comic store in Louisville. Their comic selection may not be the best, but they are a relatively new shop with a focus on selling a variety of items including toys. So, it may not be fair to expect a huge selection of comics yet. And since they are new to the business, they might still be learning about running a shop. They get a grade of 10/10...
Read moreHow can I not take the time to write a review on The Destination? As parents you know how it is when one kid graduates to having their own room & space. We'll that was our case. In doing so we thought we would see if we could get the youngest who had graduated to having his own room some cool posters. After going to several Wal-Mart's in our area we came up short. A quick Google yielded back this place and boy are we glad it did. The gentleman who took our call was the father of the owner and after asking him did he have any cool comic posters not only did he tell us they did but we could have a Captain America poster for FREE!! I asked if they could hold it til I could find the time to pick it up which was four days later as we live in another county. Much to our amazement there was not just a Captain America poster but several including an XMen poster which by the way I had a moment when we unraveled that one as we just lost my father this past year and XMen was one of his personal favorites! So to The Destination we graciously say THANK YOU! And ask others to please support this small shop. Kindly, Happy Holidays

I came in looking for 3 comics they didn’t have in stock- two days later I got a call that they had one comic ready to go, and the other two have been ordered, and I’ll get a call when they are delivered.
When I was checking out- I mentioned my dog was out in the car. Almost every employee said “WE LOVE DOGS! And we we are dog friendly! You should bring him in!”
So after I checked out, I brought my dog Jake inside to meet them and he was so happy to make new friends! And they loved seeing him and were so friendly.
Long story short- this will be my new comic store moving forward, and I’m telling all my friends to make a visit!
Here’s a photo of the guy who hooked me up with my obscure comics !!!! Just...
