Honestly, I could not wait to write this review. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. On April 14, 2024 I arrive 15 minutes early to make sure I was able to get a good parking spot, snacks, and comfortably make it to my seats with my mother-in-law who is disabled. All was well until we had to wait over 30 minutes for our movie to start. While waiting, I went to guest relations to speak to one of the workers regarding why the movie, Godzilla x Kong had not started on time and I was informed that the screen was broken and they were working on getting the movie started (which in my mind was confusing); however, I said ok and wanted to know if viewers would receive compensation for the delay. I was informed yes (worker's name was not provided per "manager" Michele who was EXTREMLY unprofessional). I was informed that I could get a full refund due to the inconvenience. I was happy with this until I was informed that I could only receive a gift card because I used Apple pay. This was very strange to me and I was disappointed, the worker then stated and I quote, " I will give you 2 movie tickets and a gift card for the inconvenience and I said ok. Once the worker left that's when Michelle came and process the refund and handed me the gift card and 2 extra tickets. I went back into the theater and the movie came right on without any previews, nothing. Once the movie ended, I was walking out with the rest of the crowd to escort my disabled mother-in-law to the restroom when I was stopped by Michelle and Stephanie. Stephanie stated and I quote "We thought you were leaving the movies and that's why we gave you a credit so you will need to give one back." I was very confused because I informed the previous worker that I was going back into the movies and Michelle even saw me walk back. I was embarrassed because not only did these ladies stop me on the way out of the movies, they were also speaking extremely harsh, loud, and boarder line harassing and bullying me in front of everyone (Which I would like cameras to be pulled). A better way would have been to say excuse me can I have you to step over here instead of addressing me in front of an audience like I deliberately snuck in a movie for what I paid for. I did inform both Michelle and Stephanie that the worker (who's name Michelle refused to give me) told me otherwise and that she needs to communicate with her staff without pulling me and embarrassing me in front of others when she was the one that even gave me the tickets. Michelle then replied, "well I don't think this is embarrassing and I informed her that she was not me and can not tell me how I'm feeling about this situation and this was the second time that I was inconvenienced today. After I voiced my concerns, Stephanie told me to have a great day and leave. I will not let this end here and will be going to corporate on these workers. It is ashamed that people are treated...

Read moreI would never go back to this theater and truly hope marketing companies for foreign movies would choose other theaters.
We bought our tickets for a Hong Kong movie 3 days ahead (it was the onlly showtime in Houston area), scanned our tickets in the theater, walked into the auditorium and found it was already half full with non-Asian audience. I was pleased Asian movies are getting a wider audience, until we realized people were sitting in our seats and insisted they had tickets for the same seats but a different showing. More and more Asian audience came in and found themselves in the same pickle as us, so all the Asians decided to go find the staff. The staff who scanned our tickets had no clue, and finally another staff arrived with a piece of paper to say the Asian movie was cancelled; well, she more or less said it was because it was Christmas. Problem #1 here, when a movie got cancelled, their website/app/system didn't notify anyone, not the paid customers nor even their own staff!!! Problem #2, why they choose to cancel an Asian movie and kick the Asian customers out instead of the other way around. There were almost equal number of Asian vs non-Asian customers for that particular showtime, so I don't think it was about the number of tickets they could sell. It shows us which movie's marketing company and/or which group of customers they value more.
For the record, they offer everyone refund and re-admit passes. I would be ok with that if only I didn't have to drive over 2 hours for this mess. I asked if they could give me 1 or 2 extra passes to compensate for my driving, but they wouldn't (company policy, of course).
AMC, use some of your profits to fix your system. There is something called cancellation...
