Beach & Lampson Square — Attraction in Stanton

You gotta come see. (This is a 3 year old review) Today August 2025 Well it’s still basically the same with a couple changes. The local police have tried to keep the drug addicts away let’s face it that’s an uphill battle. The vagrants,drug addicts and homeless that made the back side home are no longer living there so good job GG Police Department. Can’t really say much more than that.

Beach and Lampson square was the location of a Sam’s club which closed down many years ago. The rest of the smaller businesses around the square well, some have made it some have come and gone. There is a few that deserve recognition like “What a lotta pizza” but most are just typical mid like Subways. There are some that should have packed up awhile ago like “Sabrosada” food is hit and mis mostly mis it’s bad considering it’s just Mexican food. The drive thru is VERY SLOW. But the bottom line is for such bad Mexican food how they can charge such high prices just blows me away. There’s an Oil change shop and if you need one and you happen to be there OK the cost is alright BUT! beware of the up sale. It’ll be something like hey are mechanic noticed that your in cabin air filter needs to be replaced. My wife didn’t know I had changed it and the mechanic showed her a filter that was years old and she said it looked like it had oil all over it 😠 so just pay attention when you go there. Don’t be afraid to say not today just the oil change. I’m not sure why Google maps wants a review of a location that has so many individual businesses? However the app keeps asking me to review it so that is a review of the corner of Beach boulevard and Lampson Avenue. I hope this is good enough for google maps to stop bothering me and hopefully it helps...
