We went to this place and found a washer and dryer we wanted, but had to be sure they would fit in the new house we rented. Not one - but two women who worked downstairs near these appliances said we could a 24 hour "hold" ticket placed on them...and since we were there not long before they closed, they both stated the Hold would be could until the same time next day. Well...not even noon the next day some other lady calls us while we were on the road saying our hold time is up, and we need to pay for these or lose them - someone else was calling "about the washer ". Well, that sane day we were there and arranged that Hold ticket, some guy started to complain about the hold and was asking these ladies when it came off. When I told him that was our hold and we were getting this washer, he started spouting off a lot of B.S. that he "researched this model and it had problems, yadda, yadda...." as we were trying to leave. Clearly, the next morning he got with some lady out there to badger her into canceling our hold and let him hsve it instead. The woman was extremely rude to my partner whose number we left, and refused to honor her TWO employees word regarding the 24 hour hold. This shows not only unprofessional behavior, but clearly an unethical and classless standard at this business. We will never go back there, nor recommend that anyone buy so much as a pencil from these unethical people. Go elsewhere- no one should deal with these...
Read moreNo handicap access to the elevator they have on site, I was told when I walked in the door that its staff only. I had not even walked that far into the store or asked about using it. I am on oxygen and had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to look if they had any window a/C units.. The old staff at the Habitat store on Richmond Rd. was much more accommodating. Somebody needs to talk to the day shift manager. She needs to be a bit more polite to customers when they walk in the door after opening in the...

Old, almond-colored, over the range microwave $60. Old, beat-up oak vanity, no counter, white paint stains and a missing drawer $75. Those should be $10-$15 items. Don't...
