July 1, 2025 I wanted to send my grandsons some items in New York in the Saratoga Springs area. I needed boxes and packing help. It was Tuesday and I went in the store just before 2 p.m. My grandsons are 5 and 7 so I wanted them to each get a package of their own. I went in and explained what I wanted and showed them what I needed packed--enter Brad. Brad is super. I divided up everything and that included everything from Spiderman sunglasses, beach towels, 2 floats a piece, books, coloring books and a couple of other items including American flags. The only thing missing were the doughnuts one grandson wanted which will be sent another day. Brad, packed each box separately, had me double check the items to go in each box and sign off on the items. He was so nice and personable. Really everyone in the store that I interacted with were very friendly to all the customers. Not only did we get everything done but I was guaranteed 2 day delivery so it would get there by the 4th of July. The post office can't guarantee that as they can't even deliver our mail on time and it often costs more to mail at the post office for large boxes. Had my tracking numbers on Tuesday and checked on Thursday and lo and behold, my packages were delivered at 3:54 p.m. with the notation that they were given to the homeowner in the driveway. I checked with my son and he was out doing something in the driveway and the UPS delivery driver handed them to him. Great job, folks. I will definitely send the birthday...

Updating this a year later because a friend complained of the same guy doing the same thing. It bothers us enough that weâve started going elsewhere whenever possible because we donât want to be talked down to when weâre just trying to run errands. âturn up your brightnessâ âneeds to be brighterâ âare you sure youâre actually turning it upâ and inevitably he scans it and it works fine. As my friend says, âitâs just his little thing he wants to do to exert power over others and feel superiorâ
Guy was rude and told me I needed to turn up my phone brightness and didnât believe me when I said it was as high as it would go. Then he interrupted me when I began to explain that it was probably overheating and would meet a minute to cool off. He made me show him my settings so I could prove to him I know how to adjust my phone brightness. Then, when he realized I wasnât an idiot like he thought, he finally scanned the QR code and it worked on the first try. Maybe some customer service training would...

The man in there told me I need to add a little bit more tape to one spot of the package. He had a huge roll of tape laying right there on his table where he was scanning stuff in! He told me he could do it for me, but it was going to cost me one dollar! Are you kidding me?! Iâm really confused as to why the UPS store canât put a tiny little piece of tape on a corner (if itâs his opinion it needed more tape!) I will never use this location store again. This is the third time I have gone in there and the third time with the bad experience. The same man has been in there each time. He is very unfriendly and unhelpful.
