My review is regarding customer service. I have not gotten a chance to take the class and was so turned off by my experience, that I'm contemplating giving my tickets to someone else. I bought tickets, from Groupon, for my mom and I to attend the class on Saturday. I wanted to try them out because I have several friends coming in town from New York in late March and wanted to take them. Since I have been to several paint and sip type establishments, I know to always call ahead to make a reservation for the day you would like to attend. I did that on February 25, 2019. I asked for a reservation for two people on the upcoming Saturday, March 2, 2019 and gave the lady my groupon number and name. Come Saturday, we come for the 3 PM to 5PM class and no one is there, so I called the number to see if someone was on their way. First of all, the lady answered the phone by saying "Yeah". I told her that I was at the location for a class and she tells me, they're not open today and that I had to have gotten confused and booked for Sunday. I told her no, I called and made reservations for Saturday and I spoke to someone at this number. She said there was no way that I made a reservation for Saturday or spoke to her. This went back and forth with her talking over me and repeatedly telling me that I did not make a Saturday reservation. I reviewed the information on her website with her under the event time, date, and assigned picture for Saturday, which we were looking forward to painting. She said well if you get tickets off Groupon, you just can't show up. I said ma'am I am well aware of that, which is why I called in advance and asked if you had room for two in the Saturday class and gave you my groupon number. ONLY then did she apologize (somewhat) and said she was out of town due to death in the family. She could of led with that. I can understand these things can happen, but a call to those in the class as a courtesy would be nice. And then when I am in front of the building, nowhere on the door does it say that class has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. See pics below for my proof. Needless to say I won't be referring this business to anyone.
In response to your response, I have no idea who you are talking about as far as calling the same day and making an appointment. I see that you pulled my pictures off that show that I called on February 25th, twice. First to ask if you had openings, and I said I would call right back after I check with my guest to see if they were also available for the Saturday class. I then called back and made the reservation. I have never hounded you for a place in your class because there are so many others in Atlanta. For what? What you have stated are blatant lies. We've never argued before this interaction. We've only spoke momentarily before this interaction, as the pictures show, but I'm sure you will take this down as well. But, I'm going to repost it.
Furthermore, I am also a black business owner, and have been one for the last 19 years. I was also raised by entrepreneurs. Therefore, I know well what good customer service is and how it should be given. And you ma'am, seem to be in the dark about both. To make up a whole story about our interaction is a true sign that you need to sit back and get some perspective on being an "excellent" black business owner. Don't make the rest of us look bad by trying to align yourself with those of us who do provide good service. You can say what you want, but you know my account is true and accurate, and you will have to live with the falsehoods that you have put in your response. My conscious is clear.
