Funnelcake Heaven — Restaurant in Stockbridge

My first experience there was wonderful. I was waiting for them to open up right outside, watching them get ready for the day. We were greeted with smiles they were very understanding about me being hearing impaired. They made sure I understood them very well. There was a man and a woman, I assumed they were husband and wife but I did not ask questions about it. My favorite ice cream was Superman which is at the bottom. I had a King's Classic Funnel cake. Long story short, I loved the funnel cake! I went back within 2 days. The first time was better than my second time, but it's not going to keep me from going. We all have good days and bad days. I'm seeing going this review list some of the smallest things tick ppl off. People are complaining about no music or this or that. It's not a Club. I found this place on Tik Tok and I was out so I stopped by at around 1:20 because the hours said they opened at 1. I pulled up and there were 2 workers in there so I got out with my baby, she walked up and locked the door. So I’m like 🤔🤔 so we were standing outside. The lady puts up a sign that says “Busy Rn, will open shortly”. So we stood there for a few mins to wait and feel it out. She saw us standing there so she came back and put out a sign that now said, “Will open at 2:15. It was already not looking good so I said whatever, stayed in the are and killed some time because I really wanted to try their funnel cakes. I came back 2:30, past the time that was listed. They changed the sign again to say, now opening at 2:45. I just left because at this point, opening 2 hours later is crazy to me and horrible business. Especially when you see...

I was so disappointed seeing as this place almost has 5 stars. Walked in, greeted the staff member, and nothing! So I spoke again, and she half way said hi and didn't even look up in acknowledgment. At this point, I should have left but I reeeeeeeeally had a taste for a funnel cake. I ordered two classics. They were definitely reheated and NOT cooked fresh. Both cakes were soggy at some parts and chewy. And the powder on top seemed caked on like it was wet and sprinkled with fresh powder. I ate a few bites around the edge and threw it away. Wasted money. Some of the recent reviews explain this as well. I would NOT recommend this place. Maybe staff members from 6 months to a year ago have changed because those reviews were great. Anything recent is low reviews,we definitely didn't experience almost 5 star...
