Read moreStonecrest Mall is great if you love shopping in an unsafe environment. Most of the good, decent stores have all left and only a small select few remain. Most of the clothing and shoe stores that remain are over priced and cater primarily to ghetto/hoodrat people. There’s a lot of suspicious looking people (thugs) hanging out in various places in the parking lot and a lot of them look entirely too old to still hang out at the mall. They look to be in their 20’s to early 30’s and a few looked older than that.
I love MAC Cosmetics. The MAC workers are all friendly and helpful and work diligently trying handle all of their customers purchases while doing make-overs and answering questions about products. They are always busy but I never feel rushed or ignored. They acknowledge customers as soon as you walk into their area and let you know that they will be with you momentarily. I can’t say the same about some of the other stores in Stonecrest Mall. Most of the workers I’ve encountered have been rude, have nasty attitudes, and do not need to be working in customer service. Malls are definitely becoming a thing of the past primarily due to overpriced leasing rates imposed by the mall owners. Malls are being replaced by Amazon online shopping and a few others are knocking some of the big chain stores off of their pedestals due to lower prices and better shipping rates. Various shopping centers are also vastly growing. They are more easily accessible without walking through an entire mall that consist of foreign owned stores that carry ghetto clothing and a few knock off items. FYI: Most of those foreign owned stores do not issue refunds so...
Read moreI went to the Allure Store on the bottom level near DTLR…that refused to sale me a dress and did not want me to try it on. It is close to my birthday and I was trying to buy a $200 dress and the lady and gentlemen both older tried to tell me I was too big to try on the dress and that I needed a size XL.I have never worn a dress in my entire life in an XL..I run at least 12 miles a week ..I have never been treated with such disrespect at a size 8 in my life. It was almost sinister and it implied racism bc they assumed I did not have enough money to try on the dress..a real life Pretty Woman movie experience. No wonder they have so much merchandise in their store bc they only want to sell it to the Hispanic communit; they think black women are not worth their clothes. I called Mall Management and their response was very weak. I have never been told , a person not even Plus Size or close that I could be denied a dressing room. I wasn’t even asked of my dress size. I requested a medium and they did not allow me to even take the dress to the dressing room to try it on. I am a business owner of 12 years and it was very unprofessional and disrespectful to treat a cst in a such a manner. I could afford a more expensive dress! However, I will not recommend any women of color who doesn’t have a straight up and down flat figure to shop in this store. Pls go elsewhere. Companies such as these are not fit to thrive in an American society with people of different structures. Shame on you as a company! I will be filing many more complaints regarding my experience until I am...
