I had been engaged for less than a week when we went to this store to look at wedding bands. The sales woman, Alvia, assisted us and rushed us through the entire process. She wanted to show us the more expensive items instead of trying to help us find what we were asking for. As she was trying to help me find the wedding band that I wanted, she inserted it into a ring that holds the engagement on both sides. She got it stuck and wasn't able to get it out. She then took it to the corner of the store and used a metal tool to remove my ring. She scratched the top of the ring and it is now damaged. The sales people are so worried about making their commission that they have no respect for what you actually want and treat you with complete disregard. I would recommend going to another KAY but only if you have to. Stay away from this brand of stores as it seems that most of their employees (based on reviews from other KAY store in the area) don't want to help the customer. To get my ring fixed, I went to the KAY Jewelers in Morrow, GA and they were SO much better. They actually cared about what I had to say and tried to get to know me by asking me about my engagement. Read moreI purchased an opal heart pendant for my daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately, the clasp broke this week. I took it in to the store and Kim greeted me. I told her what happened. I believe normal first steps are to send it off for repair. Instead, Kim checked her stock to see if she had a replacement, and when she realized she didn’t have one, she called another location that did. Instead of waiting 3 weeks to repair, she’s having that one sent to the store so I can get it completely replaced. I didn’t purchase any extended warranty, but was very impressed with the lack of hassle and ability to quickly find a solution that was best for the customer, not necessarily the business. I take it, his name is Jamar (with thee eyes) listennnnnn at first seeing those eyes i thought for sure he was about to try to get over but babyyyyy you want PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE ??!!! He is your guy! If management or KAY HEADQUARTERS sees this post, it will be in you alls best interest to put this guy in one of your top tier locations with a bonus ! He provides excellent, i mean thee best cs ive ever witnessed. Ive come to that store on several occasions and he is absolutely unwavering in detail and courtesy.
