Strasburg Antique Market — Attraction in Strasburg Township

Besides my friend's wedding, one of the reasons my wife and I traveled to Pennsylvania was to do some serious antiquing, because as I assured her the antique stores there are excellent.

This establishment did not disappoint and excelled at every metric.

First, it is in a beautiful historical building, with ample parking to invite the shopper.

Then, the entrance leads one to a perfectly restored multi-level barn, wherein EVERYTHING is clean, well-lit, well organized, excellent restroom facilities (tastefully decorated and appointed with... antiques) all wonderfully assisted and served by a helpful, knowledgeable staff.

The greatest compliment I can pay such an establishment is to say: "It is a genuine pleasure shopping here"

Prices were excellent and some negotiable.

Most all, they SHIP! A service which my wife and I availed ourselves and our items arrived perfectly.

Finally, I would recommend this store to people who are uninterested in antiques, as I am sure they will enjoy their experience and will find something they like...

We are from Maryland and this is always one of our favorite Antique stops. Except for today, when we walked in, the lady working the counter would not even look up from her phone to greet us, and then, when we asked about the price of an item inside of a locked cabinet that you could not see the tag on, that was not 5 feet from the counter, she rudely answered that it might not be for sale. When we said again that it had a tag and that we couldn’t see it and asked if she could unlock it, she replied that ALL of the cabinets are locked. Finally, I had to ask her a third time if she could open the cabinet. It was literal 5 feet away and no other customers were around. She came over as if it were too much to get up and open it for us. We watched her interact with other customers by not acknowledging or greeting them, but just staring as they entered or exited. If I had a booth in this place, I would consider removing my items. Wow what a Great place!!! Merchandise Galore, Great prices. Friendly helpful Vendors. A Special Shout Out to the BEST Customer Service from the Most Amazing Team! They took such Great care of us pulling merchandise out of cases ,answering questions and just plain nice & helpful! Then we get to the register, I have Never been any happier to spend my money. My merchandise was wrapped and packed So well all the while we chatted and I got to know more about the shop & area. Also found out they are married and what a Great team they make and they Really took the Best care of us. I have walking challenges so when I was done, he got me on the elevator and made sure I was ok getting my packages to the car.
