Lake Meade Park — Attraction in Suffolk

We had an amazing visit to this park! Even though only one section is currently open due to renovations, it didn’t dampen the experience at all. The open area is fantastic…well-shaded and well-maintained, offering a perfect spot for kids to play comfortably. The parking lot is conveniently located close to the playground, making it super easy to access. What truly stands out is the variety of playgrounds designed for all age groups…big kids, little kids, and toddlers…so everyone has a fun and safe place to enjoy. "Lake Meade Park is a wonderful place for families. The boys loved it — there are separate sections for different activities, a kid-friendly layout, and plenty to do. Pets are welcome, and there’s even a separate park just for dogs. The trails are well-marked and pleasant for walking. I don't have young children but I do like to walk their small walking loop (although you can go off the loop for longer walks). The bathrooms are porta-pottys, however, there are actuall bathrooms on the other side of the tennis courts. There is also a small area paved for skating. The kids playing on the playground are having fun with their parents, it makes my walk pretty great. Ok, one last thing: two pokestops and a gym for those who want something else to do while...
