Went looking everywhere for a controller that i could use with my PC. Came here and was assured the controller i bought from them would work. Took it home and learned that i needed another $20 item to make it work. I explained to them that I've had to return several controllers that didn't work before coming to them...brought it back to the store and was informed they would not give me my money back and that it is only store credit. 2020 and i cant get my money back for an item i bought literally 2 hours before?..why not tell me that when i bought it after explaining all The troubles I've had with having to return other controllers? So i was sold something i can't use and can't get my money back to buy something they actually works? Look, i get it...but jeez practice some customer service. I'm just very upset about this...its like people that work in specialized departments and fields aren't educated about their products anymore and im running around to multiple stores buying useless stuff. UPDATE: went back and got another controller...that doesn't have bluetooth..which i conveniently discovered once i drove all the way home...so i couldn't hook it up to my pc i found out...tried to use the USB to hook it up but the USB on the controller is busted. I am so frustrated i feel like I'm going to catch on fire and explode. This place sucks. And the staff seemed weirded out/annoyed when i was trying to talk old school systems and RPGs....like they just wanted me to buy something and leave. It made me...
Read moreI had a coworker tell me about this place so I finally got a chance to check it out. Extremely surprised by the amount of game selection they had available from all generations of games. I had intentions to trade in some old games to see what I'd get, but I felt like I would've probably gotten the same amount at GameStop. I wasn't too bugged though because I just wanted to get rid of said games. That said, I do have some points of my own opinions to share. • This place had a nice selection of games of all kinds and even a large selection of consoles. • If you want anything console wise, you'll find decent pricing. But if you get anything hand-held for games, expect to get scalper level pricing. • Not impressed at all with their "competitive" pricing which is really just overpriced games that they're comparing pricing from online and eBay. • The person running the register at the time of my visit was super nice and very friendly, but didn't quite seem to fully understand the market for games. • I was disappointed in their trade in value on games entirely. For three PS4 games, which were semi popular games in almost new condition, I only was able to get $1.50 cash or $3.50 store credit. I think GameStop might've...
Read moreI can not describe just how incredibly happy this store makes me and my family. My daughter is into what I am. Including older games and systems but also collectibles. The inventory and staff will find what you are seeking. Remember, if it's a rare collectible, they can find it, but price is not their responsibility. I had to respect that when they got me medabots for my GBA. I bought my DS Lite, both Switches, PS5 controllers, Disk Version PS5, and so much more. They offered a warranty on used, and I bought the max length I could. No one else offers a good daggum warranty, but they do on every piece I bought from them, including the HDMI and controller charging cables!!!
This is the best part. It's the employees and atmosphere. I am easily startled and don't like to talk to people. I still enjoy going to a store, though, and browsing. Every time I go here, I'm never met with someone up my butt unless I want them to be. They always make sure to ask if I'm good, but they're not pushy. They're all very well knowledgeable on collectibles, and I can see that by how the owner trains them.
Love...
