Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Suffolk

We all want to try something new and as an immigrant,I explore on other foreigners’ cuisine,which what urged me to come here since I haven’t tried Peruvian taste.I was greeted in Spanish(I’m Asian but always been “mistaken” for Hispanic)and responded with a simple “hi” and ordered the half chicken meal/combo.I managed a fast food restaurant for 5+ yrs.and instilled to my crew the importance of providing proper customer service,especially providing our patrons their money’s worth.We,as customers shouldn’t have to open and “check” our order,trusting that I got what I paid for.To my disappointment upon getting home from a hard day’s work,I found out that my supposedly half chicken consisted of 2 leg quarters,no breast and wing!and it was a little dry.My wife is fighting a case of flu and requested something from this new place,but truthfully,with the money I dished out,I could have gotten a couple of moist n tender chicken breasts from KFC or Hardee’s.Thank GOD that I learned how to cook and very seldom go take out coz I definitely make better fried rice.No receipt in the bag and no phone no.on website coz I definitely would have rather called.The extra star was for short time for total...

Firstly this was our first and our last time coming here, I had heard good things about the place and was excited to check it out. The man who was serving us behind the counter tee was rude and rushed me through my order, nothing was labeled so I had no clue what was what. I began asking him what things were and that only seemed to irritate him more and further encourage him to rush me along, by the time we had gotten to the end of the line he didn’t even let me finish ordering he just closed the container and moved on to my husband. When my husband went to order he hardly asked him what he wanted in his bowl and just began throwing stuff in there saying “this is good, you’ll like this” then as we finished we order a horchata and a mango drink, to which we received two mango drinks. At this point we were both fed up and just said forget it, paid for our food and drinks and left. I got home already knowing I wouldn’t return because of the customer service alone but the food was bland and not at all what I was expecting based off the reviews I had read and seen. It was $45 for two bowls and two drinks and it wasn’t good at all. Plus terrible...

This is our second time eating here. My husband usually order the 12 wings- but a different flavor and always let me taste one. The hot wings last time and the bbq this time. They were delicious. Fries are hot and crispy. I read reviews on the chicken bowl so I said I would try. It didn't disappoint. Just the colors coming together made it look good. It was very flavorful and I had enough for two meals. Lastly,it was busy when we went an hour ago ( Friday), I can be a little indecisive when I have all these food options in front of me. The servers behind the counter are very patient . I let someone go ahead of me and he returns.Want to give a thumbs up for being very professional and polite in the food industry. I am quite sure we will keep coming back until we try just about everything on the menu, especially those 30 flavors wings. My fourth visit.
