I’m new to Suffolk and this was the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 10 years in 757. There was only one customer when we arrived it’s just me and my daughter. We waited 20mins just to get a drink and order while watching the lady sit and eat at a table across from us. Them when the order came it was less then what was listed on the menu and she said it was because they changed the menu but still using the old ones. My daughter choked on the very hard teriyaki stick and throw up a little. There were no napkins at the table when I go up to ask for some she said well just go to another table and grab one. And when the food came it was bland with no seasoning not use to that. When I asked for some seasoning she said well you’re not going to always like other cooking and I said I never had bland hibachi before. I had to repeatedly ask for a refill and it took so long we were ready to go. She said they don’t do to go cup so drink what you can and come to the front to pay so she can return to eat. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I see why it’s so empty. If I could give it no starts I would. And she gave herself a tip of $7.58 and said they automatically tip no matter party size.
The person responded was not here and not one lies was told. My daughter was not sick prior to come to this restaurant and she did choke on hard chicken. Also there was three napkins and I used my wet wipes and cleaned the small amount up. So to say they had to clean it and a lie. That person helping us was irritated from the moment we walked in I should’ve listened to my gut and left then. I spend $47 of my money to be treated this way. I was Never told about gratuity being...
Read moreWalking inside there is a variety of plug-in quarter games, like chuck -e-cheese and the restaurant was empty of patrons. Some of the games were plugged in however there was an excess amount of them lining the walls. The decor was okay: black, red white with dark floors. They had me confused when I saw italian themed chalk board decor on the wall. The service was mediocre however the food was horrible. I got the steak and scallops hibachi since they didn't have any sushi, which the google search implied. The scallops were Expired. The only scallop to enter my mouth, out of the 4 that were given, was very ammonia tasting and smelly. One bite into it and I immediately spit it into the napkin. The waitress told me the scallops were fresh. She even brought the top of the bin out to show me the date; that they stored them in. She kept saying they weren't bad and told me she couldn't understand why they tasted bad to me. I am an experienced seafood eater. They were bad. The steak was over cooked. I asked for medium rare to medium. It came out as well done. Also found out the men's bathroom lock doesn't lock. My date said, when he went to the bathroom and when he opened the door and he was in shock of what he saw: an asian man, the Cook, literally standing on top of the toilet; in a squatting position taking a #2; while playing on his cell phone. No wonder why no one goes here. I Definitely will never come here again. Gross! Too bad there isn't a lower rating on the scale...
Read moreTokyo Grill on Maine Street in Suffolk is finally open for indoor dining. My wife and I were excited about going back. Prior to COVID we really liked the food and service there. The Chicken and Broccoli and the Shrimp and Broccoli were favorites. This afternoon we went back and had Chicken and Broccoli and Shrimp and Broccoli. The Broccoli was over cooked, the chicken didn't taste good and it was way too salty. Miso soup wasn't as good as before, avocado salad was drowned in dressing, sushi was good. Although not all great we ate everything except for the chicken and shrimp broccoli dishes. When the waitress asked how we liked the food my wife told her that the broccoli was over cooked and I told her it was too salty. The waitress laughed and said "so sorry". My wife said we aren't paying for something that isn't good and we didn't eat. Waitress said we had to pay. We told her to call the police which she did. Two Suffolk police officers showed up and very professionally negotiated between the parties. We offered to pay for the food that we ate, but the restaurant wanted to press charges for petty theft. We said go ahead, we hadn't stolen anything. After the police talked with them they agreed not to press charges, we paid the $30 for the food we ate and they still tried to get their 18% "service fee". Didn't pay it. Other restaurants would have not changed for the food we didn't like or eat and some would even give a discount coupon to return and give them...
