GameStop — Local services in Suffolk

Awful experience I had there, if I could give it zero stars I would. I don't know if the lady working was the assistant manager or an employee, but she racially profiled my husband and accused him and I of stealing a game. She watched us like a hawk the ENTIRE time we were in there, literally watched him look at the game and then watched him put it down at the front desk and say "its too much for us right now". She basically chased us down and frisked us as well as make comments that she mumbled under her breath. I have been a loyal member to gamestop and bought most of my games and electronics there, but after this experience I refuse to go back. Apparently just looking around = going to steal. I get people steal, but watching us and then accusing us was just the tip of the iceberg. My husband and I have never stolen in our lives due to our beliefs, so why would we start now? I will be giving my service to old skool instead. As they give better deals anyway and the people are always welcoming. Customer service was very bad today. Went to go buy a xbox series s was willing to Pay for it and they threw in a bunch of bs with it they had a sale and lost it just like that got home went on bestbuy got it for less cheaper brand new I was willing to pay more for a used one. By the way the two girls working there need to find a differnt job in my opinion. Also I know the gm and the manager I use to work there and was one of the top sell guys do better. Still love the store seen some of the same people that would come and chill everyday when I was working there. But the new people working they arnt it. If I wanted a warranty I would have said yes stop pushing ask once I was about to renew my member ship as well which would have helped with your sale anyway with buying a console because tomorrow I would have bought controllers. Another gentleman asked how much are the PS5. The cashier replied. I said I had seen a bundle online with spiderman game for 449.00. The cashier said oh yeah ....we have that too. I said I want to see it cause if it's the same thing ....I want it. Cashier said....no way...you have to pay first. We have had too many robberies here and other game stops.
