Mattress Firm Outlet - Suffolk — Hotel in Suffolk

Purchased a bed from Harbourview store and they were wonderful but we had to go pick up a clearance bed from the main st store in Suffolk, and bc we had to have a bed same day they had the one we wanted that was on clearance. We were assured by the lady in the store that even though it said pre owned on the package that she could “smell” that it was new bc sometimes they get delivered to wrong addresses and so forth so that’s why it had to be in pre-owned packages. We were iffy but bc we were in desperate need of a bed we went ahead and got it. The lady showed my husband which bed for him to pull down, and the gentlemen in there just sat down and didn’t even offer to help my husband. My husband made a comment jokingly saying I never been somewhere where I had to get my own furniture in hopes that the gentleman would help but all he did was say, ever been to ikea and laughed, and continued to sit there, and the lady brought us a cart to roll it outside ourselves. Then my husband had to load it up in the truck and so I was examining it to be sure it was ok and sure enough the side was stained with brown stuff and it was all along the bottom with boot prints. We kept assuring us it was just a water stain which really didn’t help since it was supposed to be new bc of the supposed new smell. So much for the bed being taken and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Then my husband had to get the bed off the truck then they tried getting us to by a new bed after we kept telling them weren’t interested in those beds bc we tried them at the other store with Byron and we just didn’t like it. The people in there were a little older so my husband didn’t really expect them to help to much but just the fact that they didn’t even bother to ask or try to help. Just excuses from the lady why she couldn’t and the guy as I said just sat there. This was first time we tried mattress firm but unfortunately due to this experience it will be the last. I think working with the Harbourview store and getting a new bed would be ideal, but I don’t think mattress firm holds up on their promise for clean and sanitized used beds and I really think that they should have a staff member that can help bc I seen other google review photos of customers loading up...

Words can't do justice for the most excellent customer svc & friendliness that I received today from Joe at this Mattress Firm than I've received anywhere else. I went in just to browse & ended up getting a top notch Black Beautyrest Series 3 - 15inch Firm mattress & Tempur-Ego 3.0 adjustable base to replace my previous mattress & base after getting the expert knowledge he took time & patience to tell me. If more workers across the board in retail were like Joe I'm certain sales would skyrocket. I don't know if he's getting paid what he's worth but I certainly HOPE that he's both appreciated 'and' compensated for the valuable & 'genuine' asset that he is. My daughter & son-in-law just purchased 3 new mattresses for my grands about 2wks ago & they told me about a very nice young man that helped them named Joe & I'm just blessed that he was in today to help me...

November 10, 2021 I went to Mattress Firm Suffolk Marketplace to buy a king size mattress,(which is 2 twin size mattresses) because I wanted both mattress to adjust up for both or either of us separately. They had a great sale going on 50% off some mattresses and adjustable bases, we purchased 2 twin mattress and 2 basses to make a king size for our bed that has a king frame. Alia was our sales rep (name might be spelled wrong) she was very knowledgeable about the type of mattress and base we wanted. She asked us questions about our sleep habits to fit us with the right mattress. She was able to answer all our questions and direct us to the mattresses and base we end up buying.
