This is a review about golf lessons/instructions.
I'm a pandemic golfer and have been playing for 4 years now. I love the game. I'm a YouTube taught golfer and have been told many times to take lessons, but I could never justify it because i wasn't going pro or anything. I have only broken 90 twice in my career. I have had many good and bad days. I have plateaued at a 25 handicap and have tried to solve my swings with more YouTube advice. I finally decided to take lesson and fix my bad habits or at least get some real in person advice. I recently had my first 30 min session with coach Lee and omg what an eye opener it was. Just the first session and I already have so much homework to do. It's $60/30min and they provide the range balls which is nice. I've seen other places that charge you for range balls also. Coach Lee filmed my swings and showed me the issues he saw and then showed me how to correct them and gave me some drills to do. He also emailed me my swing so I know what to look for. I'm excited about this new golf journey and would recommend coming for lessons if you're on the fence about it. It's kind of hard to find much info about a golf coach online so thought I would share...
Read moreThis place brings back fond memories from the 80's (1980's). Our group was there because we had a golf newbie in our group. It was perfect for him.
The course was just as I remembered. The staff are good, and they try to keep the line moving and the tee times on time. The course is in pretty good shape. The tee boxes are as good as the last group left it. Some divots, no divot repair seed or sand on any of the tee boxes. The fairways were good with the usual uneveness of a muni course, but it was definitely playable. The greens were very nice. Again, the greens were only as good as the last group left it. Our group fixed at least 2 ball marks each on every hole, small price to pay for such a quaint, challenging, pretty, fair, well kept, very green municipal golf golf.
I definitely will be back. Bin made 3 pars in row to start his round. His impressionof this very fun golf course may be even...
Read moreThis course is a hidden gem! We play a lot of golf all over north America and have recently brought our clubs to the Bay Area. We weren’t sure if any of the local courses are enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by this 9-hole course not just because it is really close to where we stayed but this course has a scenic charm and offered a lot of shade in the hot July weather. The pace of play was exemplary. We liked it so much that after nine holes and a beer we decided to play the nine holes once again - Super easy to book the tee time. After all 18 holes, we also enjoyed the bbq beef brisket lunch with a nice salad. We would definitely recommend this course to our friends and family and hope they enjoy playing here too. We plan to be back and play some more rounds anytime we are in the...
