I got a haircut last year at this place and loved it. I have been planning to get my hair straightened for a long time because it was difficult for me to maintain and looking for long term solution that would keep my hair silky and smooth. After enquiring at several salons, I decided to do at Mishal’s because of my past experience with haircut, despite being expensive when compared to other salons.They did a hair sample test and convinced me to do hair smoothening stating that would fit my hair type. Also because I had my hair straightened 2 years back, they told me that the lower part of my hair would get slightly dry, but shouldn’t be a problem if I apply conditioner after hair wash. I was convinced and got the smoothening done. After about a week getting my first hairwash at home, I realized my hair getting extremely dry that bunches of hair tangled together after i wake up in the morning. My hair lost it original moisture and texture, and day by day got worse. I was totally disappointed after having paid about $600+ only to get my hair worse. I texted them and told the issue, they asked me to come over to fix this by applying a CBD spa treatment, and charged me another $70. I was expecting to fix that for free of cost considering the huge amount I paid for the original service. Anyways I still tried the spa hoping it would fix, but it only made things worse and day by day I started losing hair due to dryness and breakage while brushing trying to remove tangles. Now my hair’s thickness has reduced to a great extent, and I’m applying home made hair masks and remedies to resolve the dryness and get my hair back to original texture. And for as skilled as Mishal is, she is also very professional. Her and her team were always on time and had great attitudes, even with a 3:30am makeup call for my wedding day. I know that day was long and exhausting, but Mishal and her team were always high energy and did not let anything effect the care they took into crafting their looks.
