I went to this store this morning 2/20/24 to make an exchange and felt completely stereotyped. Upon arrival at approximately 10:34 I advised the greeting associate my reason for being in the store and asked did he needed to see what was in the bag. He gave me the ok to go and look for the exchange and then go to the register. I grab the right size pants for me then proceeded over to the children department because I needed to make an exchange on some shorts I had brought for my daughter. Upon arrival in that department there was an associate over in the children area who stood on a display Iâm assuming to ensure I was not stealing because I stood in one area for a moment to glance if I could see the children shorts because I had already spent 250.00 the following day and wanted to only focus on what I needed without making any more purchases. That associate later identified himself as a manger with never providing his name. I asked the manger did they have any more shorts for kids besides the ones I saw and he directed me to the clearance rack. After finding the shorts I needed for my daughter, I proceeded to checkout. I placed my return on the counter and the things I was exchanging them for and gave the associate my receipt. I did have writing on the receipt because I placed a initial by all the products I had brought just to ensure I had everything I brought. So after giving him my receipt he called the same manager who was watching me over in the children department left me at the register without saying a word . After about a min or so I went over to where the associate and the manager was and asked if there was a problem. The associate answered yes the receipt didnât have a bar code that he needed to have someone look it up. At about a min or so later the associate came back over to me and asked if the receipt was emailed. By this time Iâm furious because I felt this could have been communicated to me prior to calling for a manager. In all the receipt was never emailed in which I another manger was called who identified herself as the experience manger who goes by the name Angelique or Angela. After waiting for another 5min or so I walked back over to the three who advised they were still looking. After about 15min I guess the receipt was located and the exchange was made. For my actions the experience manger advised me that because of my action they took their time to serve me in fear of the associate in which I feel was inappropriate because if they felt I wouldâve did anything law enforcement shouldâve been called. I have worked in law enforcement for years now and body language speaks more louder than word. Adidas needs to train there employees on customer...
Read moreI love this store and the Adidas brand and refuse to buy anything containing the logo of its biggest competitor. This store is great. Wish they had more tennis wear and tennis shoe selections (no serious tennis player would buy the 3 or 4 tennis shoe models they have on display - hint Adidas: display some Adzero Ubersonics and they'll sell out in seconds).
I never like to complain about staff at a restaurant or a store, but I go out of my way to be nice to retail people because I understand how challenging the job can be and I genuinely appreciate their assistance. However, it seems like half the people I encountered working at this particular location were somewhat unfriendly, seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else other than there, and in some cases, were a bit rude. Why not just be nice to everyone?
On the other hand, the people who seem to like working there are knowledgeable about the product line, are super helpful, and genuinely come off as brand ambassadors, and I, along with all Adidas loyalists very much appreciate their assistance.
Other than that, there's a great selection of products and apparel, much of which is...
