I cannot recommend this school enough. Eddie (the first Certified Master Jeweler in Florida) brings decades of real-world custom design, fabrication, and repair experience to the bench, and he leads with clear demonstrations, patient explanations, and plenty of encouragement in a small-class setting. Every project—from making nameplates, bands, bracelets, and hinge installations to stone setting and chain repairs—served as a multifaceted lesson to demonstrate some of the challenges we would be met with while working as a bench jeweler. The course’s emphasis on tool proficiency—showing and guiding us through the use of a wide array of tools, ensured that we would leave the class with confidence when working with the typical tools and techniques essential in daily bench work. Plus, Eddie’s upbeat teaching ambiance—complete with great playlists, witty humor, and personable vibes—kept energy high and learning approachable. I waited a couple years to write this review. Eddie kinda saved my life. No, for real. I came to south Florida from Buffalo NY. I wanted to change my life and jewelry was something i was interested in. I took the custom jewelry design course. About 6 months long. Worth every penny. I now have a store in the diamond district in Miami and because of the knowledge i got from Eddie no one will ever take advantage of me. Ppl are usually shocked when a “newbie” like myself knows so much about so many different things. From cad. To casting. To waxing. To finishing. To diamonds. Just about every lane there is in this industry. I don’t use some of the techniques i learned and that’s because i stick to more hiphop style jewelry. But it’s good to know everything he taught me. Everything has come into play in some form or another. Now I’m so busy that I’m barely on the bench. I’ve had to hire some help. I got this far because of my hard work and of course because of Eddie. Whenever i have a question or need some help. He’s always there for me. This world needs more ppl like him. I definitely recommend the class....

I just finished my two-week course with Eddie and it was beyond my expectations! Not only is Eddie very experienced and you can see that he loves what he’s doing, he let us put our hands on the first project literally in the first 10 minutes of the class!!
