Subject: Disrespectful Service Experience at Bloomingdale’s Sawgrass Mall, Sunrise, Florida
Dear [Bloomingdale’s Management],
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience at your Bloomingdale’s store located at Sawgrass Mills Mall, Sunrise, Florida, on January 16, 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM.
I have always admired the high standards of customer service and professionalism associated with the Bloomingdale’s brand. However, my encounter during this visit was in complete contradiction to those values.
The issue concerns a pair of shoes I purchased for $150, shortly after which I noticed a significant price reduction. A previous store manager had assured me that I could return and receive the price difference. Unfortunately, due to personal commitments, I was unable to visit the store promptly. During today’s visit, I encountered a new manager who not only refused to honor the original promise but also displayed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.
The key issues I experienced include: • The manager flatly refused to honor the prior arrangement and offered no reasonable solutions. • Her communication style was rude and dismissive, with no regard for customer satisfaction. • She deliberately removed her name badge to conceal her identity, an action I found highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
While I have photographic evidence documenting the incident, my purpose is not to single out an individual but to highlight a systemic issue: • A change in staff should never negate a prior commitment made to a customer. This undermines trust in your brand. • Store managers are expected to lead with professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to resolving customer concerns, not to belittle or dismiss them.
Bloomingdale’s invests heavily in its brand image and customer experience. However, one disrespectful and ineffective manager can erode the goodwill built over many years.
I respectfully request that you address both the original price adjustment issue and the unprofessional behavior I encountered. Additionally, I urge you to provide further training for all managerial staff to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt and considerate response to restore my confidence in...

Let me tell you a tale of style, sweat, and shopping glory. I entered Bloomingdale’s Outlet at Sawgrass Mills like a cautious window-shopper… and exited like a fashion-forward gladiator holding 5 shopping bags and 2% remaining on my credit card. 💳🔥
This place? It’s not a store. It’s a high-end treasure hunt with air conditioning. ❄️🗺️ I found a Ralph Lauren jacket for less than a pizza, a pair of designer shades for the price of a latte, and a cashmere sweater so soft it probably whispered affirmations to me. 🧥☕🕶️
Up to 85% off. EIGHTY. FIVE. PERCENT. That’s not a sale — that’s a legal miracle. I checked the tags twice to make sure it wasn’t a prank from the universe. 😳🙌
Sales associates? ✨Glorious.✨ One of them literally helped me wrestle a Michael Kors purse out of a clearance bin while we bonded over the shared trauma of trying on skinny jeans in July.
💼 Warning: If you’re emotionally unprepared for spontaneous joy or cartwheeling through discount racks, bring a friend to monitor your behavior. I almost proposed to a mannequin wearing an Armani blazer.
By the end, I was financially lighter but spiritually richer. 💸🕊️ If heaven had a dress code, it would be “Whatever you bought from Bloomingdale’s Outlet,...
Read moreI've been into this Bloomie's Outlet numerous times to browse, but I think I have yet to purchase anything.
I LOVE to look through the handbag section. Spotted a couple of small Fendi items, Michael Kors, Longchamp, and more. Of course they also have a nice selection of items like wallets, coin purses and misc other small leather goods.
On my last trip I realized how massive the sunglass section is! Lots of frames by Ray Ban, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Burberry, Quay, Tom Ford, Coach and more! A little rich for my blood, but still a nice selection.
The shoe section is fairly decent, it's focused more on dress footwear, but I did spot a few pairs of sneakers.
I have a wedding coming up in the near future, so I spotted some fun dresses. Nice that they have gowns you could wear to a casual bash to black tie.
They carry apparel for the whole family, even kids clothing. I was surprised by how many racks of great clearance deals they had, but I think you would have to dig and know your prices.
Great store to browse for the whole family, especially if you desire...
