If I could leave no stars I would, this experience was absolutely horrendous!!! Did a duo head spa with my friend. My lady never said one word to me, no intro (do xyz as is typical) I literally had to walk back out and ask for a sheet and what they needed as far as undressing since it was a head spa with neck and shoulder massage (or supposed to be), in a silent room no soft relaxing music. Got on the table face up (again head spa neck and shoulders only) lady comes in (still no name to this day) lifts sheet and motions to roll over which I'm confused now but I do it. Proceeds with upper body "massage" which honestly I wouldn't be mad about it if it felt good. But it was so uncomfortable and painful (like a beat up kind of pain not a good massage release pain) I was literally thinking the whole time is it over yet when is this gonna be over and am I gonna get what I came in for........when she finishes my back lifts the sheet and motions be to roll over. Now I get the head spa which honestly was horrible but wasn't significant either just ok. Got no shoulder or neck massage. When she finishes she just leaves not a single word to me indicating we are done and can get dressed, just leaves, leaving me to wonder are we done. Which I never been so excited for a "massage" to be over! I laid there for a couple minutes (with the door open which it was the entire time mind you) before deciding I guess it's done and proceed to get dressed and go out front. I go to pay and Sarah ASKS for a tip!!!!! I find this so repulsive and my experience sucked and before talking to my friend about hers I just said ok $10 and she says $10 each, I said no total and if you could have seen the look on her face. But I wasn't backing down.
Now for my friend as we are leaving she is singing praises (but she is naturally an extra kind hearted person and just gives grace where grace shouldn't be) about her experience and we are talking about how horrendous mine is. She insisted on running back in to tip her cause "she did so good." Fast forward to next day we are both swollen and bruised and in pain. My friend goes the chiropractor, whom she had already had scheduled, and they literally took one look and said who beat you up? They literally told her she was sooo inflamed and to never go back there again. Sarah even put her in a chokehold style at one point in the massage!!! Needless to say she regrets going back in to tip her. We both agree we will never go back there again!! She had Sarah and felt very pressured by Sarah to leave a review on the spot. Save your body, money, and time and go somewhere else.
I don't typically do reviews but this place was so horrible I feel others need to know. I feel like they push for the positive reviews they do have in the moment before the damage that they have done has time to set in. Also, I just went to another place in Shoreline that blows this place out of the water!!!!!!!!! The good ones are out there but they are NOT here...
Read moreMy friend and I called ahead to get an appointment for the two of us to go get a 60min massage head spa treatment for our birthday today, the lady on the phone was very accommodating and got us an appointment almost immediately. When we got there my friend and I went into our own rooms and were directed to take our clothes off and cover with the sheet as usual with a massage. At first it was going good the lady asked if it was my first massage I said yes and asked if I wanted soft medium or hard, I opted for medium. After that she released some tension from my back and focused mostly in that area when I was under the impression it was a full body massage. She kept stopping in the middle of the massage to check text messages which her ringer was on, and she even answered a phone call on speaker in the room. The door was cracked open the whole time, she burped during my service and didnât apologize or anything for it. She made comments like âyour skin is very dryâ and âyour hair is super tangledâ. The head massage was less of a massage and more of her scratching my head over and over again in different places and she didnât even blow dry my hair all the way. There was more that I was unhappy with but the worst part is I wasnât satisfied for my service so I wasnât planning on leaving a tip, I paid her $80 cash and she continued to say âthis is only 80$ where is the tip for meâ I was confused and offended so I was like huh and she points to the board and says service is $80 where is the tip. I replied with just asking where my friend was because I felt conflicted. I met with my friend outside of the bathroom and we went back to the counter for her to pay for her service, she left a $10 tip for her masseuse and the lady then said okay so 10 dollar tip here where is your tip for me, I just said we combined our tips because I felt very disrespected and wanted to get out of there. When we got to the car my friend said her experience was amazing she got hot stones without asking which I did not receive, she got massaged over her whole body legs and feet included which I really didnât get at all, her lady was very sweet respectful and mindful and she had an amazing time. I wish our experiences wouldâve been the same but they were not and I am very...
Read moreI came here for a massage for the first (and last) time a little while ago and finally felt compelled to write this review. While the massage service itself was fine, the environment and overall experience was absolutely not enjoyable and probably the worst I've had.
I came in at my scheduled appointment time and sat waiting for someone to greet me/take me back for about 15 minutes. Not a big deal. Once we began, throughout my massage session, the woman providing my service kept the door to our room open, although I was undressed under the table covers and receiving my massage. Even after asking her to close it a few times, another woman working at the spa kept coming in and out of the room, maybe 4 times. They were having conversations which was fine, but I felt a bit violated and disrespected by having someone I wasn't aware of entering the room during my session unexpectedly, numerous times.
Also, another person who I believe worked there brought a dog into the spa. The dog walked into my room through the open door, and the woman with the dog pulled its leash to pull it back into the hallway and KICKED IT. They locked it in another room and I heard it crying the rest of my session. I was in awe and could not believe what I witnessed.
I felt a complete violation of privacy that made my entire experience turn sour, and seeing the other employee treat their dog like that in a professional establishment made me extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this business, I am sorry to say. I hope they can take this feedback and...
