I primarily come here to do returns, since they charge you $6 per order to return by mail. You can't combine orders when mailing returns and there is no cost difference for rewards members or cardholders. It's much easier to order online and the online selection is much better than what is in store. This store is not organized very well, so its hard to find what you are looking for.
The staff are generally pleasant and greet you when you come in. However they spend a lot of time complaining to eachother, in front of customers at the register. Both about previous customers, and other coworkers.
The last time I came in to do a return, the employee who assisted me was very rude, and not adequately trained on their computer system.
When I first said I wanted to exchange a swim top, she shoved my bag back at me and told me to go find it and then come back. When I asked if they had swimsuits in store, she said didn't know. I asked her to look it up on the computer so I didn't waste my time, and she finally agreed to check.
She couldn't find several of the items from my return in the system and kept repeating that fact to me as if I lied about buying them from their website. I even had to pull one swimsuit up on their website to show her it existed. It took almost an hour to return 5 items. All of them were separated by order, with their return slips, and had the tags on. She finally had to manually add the items and adjust the prices to do my return. At no point did either of the 3 other employees offer to assist.
As for the clothing, the quality and fit has really gone downhill, but the prices remain the same. They have sales often, but basically its just to make their clothing an acceptable/normal price. I get that plus size clothes take more fabric, but a plain, basic t-shirt shouldn't cost $50. The last 3 pairs of pajama pants I have purchased, all got holes in the pockets in the first week. Shirt hems are often crooked and strings hanging off of them.
This is one of the few places that carry bras in my size, but aside from that, I don't plan to continue buying...
Read moreNo question. I was in your Lakewood, wa store today around noon and encountered the worst customer service. I have been a loyal customer for years and I don't treat myself to actually go shopping very often. Today I was excited to try on bras, find my current size, and buy some shorts and capris. I walked in and there were at least 3 ladies working and only 3 customers other than me. Nobody bothered greeting me, so I went to the bra section to see if I could help myself. I walked around the section for 10 minutes and did about 3 full rounds trying to find my size and waiting for someone to come help me. Nobody did so I picked a few sizes in the styles I was looking for and looked for the fitting room. That's the only time someone spoke to me was to say "help yourself!" So I did, but no one checked in, I left the room, no one said anything. I put the shorts back on the rack because they don't have a return rack in the fitting room and walked back to the bra section. I put back the wrong fits and again hoped someone would come offer to help. Nope. I see 2 people behind the counter, 1 with a customer the other not helping anyone. I walk over to the counter and as soon as I do the lady not with a customer walks out and over to the bra section! The one ringing a lady up looks me in the eye doesn't smile, doesn't greet me, or anything, just goes back to the person in front of her. I put the bra I was going to ask about on the rack in front of the counter and walked out the door with my middle finger in the air. I have heard stories about your horrible customer service but told everyone how great it's always been for me. I can't say that anymore. It was terrible and I won't be shopping there anymore. Read moreAvoid at all costs. Most of the staff is very nice but there is one...always one. The store and brand is on the edge of non existent, so never anyone in there. Ordered an item online for ship to store, I had never done this before. Went in on my lunch break to pick it up. No one in the store, this person seemed annoyed by my timing. Oh well, having a bad day..no worries. After a bit got my package, asked if I wanted to try it on. I didnt have time. So tried it on at home. Horrible fit. So tried to take it back. Again annoyed that I'm even there, nobody in the store. She asked if I has the packing slip. I didnt remember there being one, I didn't notice one. Did you wear it no, just tried it on, she all but snarls and says we'll it looks like it was warn, I repeated, I tried it on, but didn't wear it beyond that. Well nothing I can do. She basically called me a liar and made me feel like I was trying to get away with something. I just took it back and will donate it.
