Went to Madame butterfly for my birthday, with my mom. I waited 'til near the end of intermission to use the lady's room (due to the lines), and when I came out some staffer gleefully (she was clearly amused) told me I couldn't go in. The music hadn't even started, but she insisted. I don't know if musicians are warned. I don't know how Tacoma Opera compensates, nor the symphony that is pictured. Maybe...
